Great ambience, but pricey food - Edit
We had the mushroom tacos and chicken quesadilla, as well as Hibiscus lemonade. The dishes tasted okay but were dripping with oil. The ambience was great, though. I can recommend the place for drinks, but not for food.

My husband and I visited Los Carnales on one of the hottest summer days (I believe it was 32c+). Whew, it was extremely nice to sit there by the river as the sun started to set and the breeze cooled us down. Service was good, we had 2-3 waitresses throughout our stay but they were all very nice. As a Mexican-American who lives in Mettmann, it's an indescribable treat to come across food like this. I barely ever see anything approaching authentic Mexican food and being Vegan makes it rarer. My husband and I never can decide so we went for 3 different tacos (soja al pastor/tinga/camote), mexican rice (arroz a la mexicana), beans (frijoles) and chips and guac (guacamole con totopos). I think I enjoyed the sweet potato tacos most but everything was tasty. Yes, it's very humble, simple cooking, in a simple setting, but it was good! It took me home to Cali and I appreciate they are there.

Sehr wenig Veggy und Vegan - Edit
Leider sehr wenig Veggy und Vegan selbst bei Gerichten bei denen einfach Alternativen möglich sind. Nicht weit entfernt ist Cassita Mexicana mit besseren Angebot für Vegetarier und Veganer.

Redefine Meet oder Beyond wären eine schöne Alternative… leider alles Fehlanzeige.

Best vegan tacos ever - Edit
I got to know Los Carnales when they had a food stall at Fusion Festival, many years ago. Their soya tacos al pastor are the best tacos I have ever had, even better than the vegan tacos that I tried in Mexico! The brothers are very friendly and deserve all the support and success!

Hip Taco Store near to the Rhine - Edit
Tasty Tacos directly located at the Rhine. Fast service, plenty of seats in- and outside. There are 4 non-vegan and 4 vegan Tacos and quite some vegan side dishes such as Tortillas with Guacamole.
