NACHOS AREN’T VEGAN - Edit
Despite being marked as ‘VG’, the nachos are only vegan if you specifically ask for the cheese and sour cream to be REMOVED… still charged at the same price but there are no vegan alternatives for this dish.

A few vegan options - Edit
Store at this location was formerly vegan, don't be fooled. Friendly staff, inside of 'Seven Dials' food market. Good music, vibrant, in tourist part of town. The vegan burrito contains roasted plantains 😍

Nice but long wait time - Edit
I was disappointed it replaced Club Mexicana but the spicy plantain burrito was really nice.

Disappointing - Edit
We were fans of Club Mexicana, who were here previously. This place is a huge disappointment by comparison. The taco fillings have a lot of liquid in which make them messy to eat. The taco shells themselves are quite stale-tasting. The mushroom taco was very salty. The nachos we had as a side were ok, but nothing special compared to Club Mexicana’s offering. Staff seemed much less friendly than the previous ones. We will go elsewhere in future.

Cons: Just nowhere near as good as Club Mexicana

Just OK - Edit
We went on a Saturday lunchtime and they'd unfortunately run out of the plantain for the vegan burrito and taco so we ordered mushroom tacos and patacones. The tortillas looked bought in but were tasty, the filling was fine but very drippy. Serving sizes were small so didn't seem great value. The patacones were good and something new to try, although some salt on them would have been welcome. The wait time felt a bit long and we'd finished the tacos before the side came. We went elsewhere afterwards to top up our lunch!
Read moreTo be fair to them they've taken over the Club Mexicana site which heightens what you're missing as a vegan taco fan!
Pros: Hot sauce on the tables
Cons: No phone reception in seating area
