Lush is a very vocal political company that will fight with concrete actions against injustices like false imprisonment, animal suffering, slavery, and sexism. A great example of this is their well known hand and body lotion Charity Pot, of which all their proceeds go to various charities around the world, usually local to the shop.
Read morePersonal favorites of mine include the Dream Cream self preserving body lotion, which I currently use on my face and arms, and has helped a lot in combating keratosis pilliaris and the subsequent scarring. I also use Rehab shampoo and No Drought dry shampoo every other day.
Pros: fights against animal testing, knowledgable staff will help you out, lovely products with lovely scents
