Holy Crepe - Edit
Picked up some brunch crepes for the second time and was not disappointed. Have had some of their burgers, sandwiches and flatbreads too and have enjoyed everything so far. Wish the flatbreads were a little bigger or a little cheaper, but otherwise I think their menu is priced reasonably for what they offer and what's out there.

Great service/Delicious food - Edit
Highly recommend! Amazing Saturday brunch wraps. Filling was super fresh, crunchy, perfectly seasoned and very generous size. Waiter “Slim” was so friendly and provided excellent service throughout our visit. We will definitely be back!

Best of the best, Midwest - Edit
Serving Saturday & Sunday morning brunch (with cinnamon rolls on Sundays) as of July 2024!
Read moreMad Rabbit Cafe has absolutely all of the hearty, filling, delicious vegan food you find yourself wishing for whenever you're offered a bowl of dry granola for breakfast and a sad salad with no dressing for lunch or dinner. Everything is perfectly cooked and seasoned, super reasonably priced, and the service is wonderful. You won't leave hungry and every tastebud will be satisfied.
The Cafe is also only a 10-minute walk from Willy Street East, so you can get an amazing meal and then grocery shop to your heart's content at the Co-op without even needing to move your bike or car. Viva MRC!
Pros: fully vegan menu, lovely, kind service, good prices & perfect portion sizes

Really good - Edit
Pleased to finally see a fully vegan restaurant in Madison. We liked the menu and ambience. My husband had the Fiesta Tofu Wrap and I had Buffalo Chik’n. Both were good. Serving sizes were generous. Staff is really nice, helpful, courteous and efficient. We’ll be back.

Disappointed - Edit
Great to have another plant based restaurant in the area! But food was not healthy, very greasy, and processed. Gives plant based food a bad name. Staff was friendly and decor was cute. Maybe a good place to take a meat eating friend because maybe they like the Beyond burger and sausage. Would be better if it was house made.

Fast food Vegan. - Edit
Salads here are fairly uninteresting. Flatbreads are oily and expensive for a small amount of food. It’s all plant based eating here if you’re willing to eat very high-fat Beyond Burgers. However, I’m very glad to have another plant-based dining option in the area.

Vegan Comfort Food - Edit
The food was really good. We tried the loaded fries, the smokehouse and the no harm no fowl sandwiches. Their vegan chik’n is delicious and the chorizo on the fries is also really good.
Read moreThe space is pretty cramped and the entrance is not wheelchair accessible. Also a little pricey. I was a little disappointed for a vegan restaurant to be charging $2 extra for tofu when we all know it doesn’t cost that much…

One of the best in Madison - Edit
The Rebel cheese board did not disappoint- easily the best vegan cheese I’ve had! The Californian Flatbread was outstanding, I can’t think of any way it could be better. The bunny-less balls were also tasty! 💯
