Good pho!

I'm a big fan of the vegan pho here! They have great spring rolls too. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I do wish they had a bit more options but I very much enjoy what they have. Be sure to ask carefully before getting sandwiches or baked tofu, I've been told before that they use butter to prepare those, not sure if that is still the case but better safe than sorry!

Vegan friendly Vietnamese

This restaurant is the top rated Vietnamese restaurant in NoLa for 2015, so, why can't veg*ns eat here too? Oh, yes we can!

When you look at this simple menu, it is classic Vietnamese with Banh Mi, Bun (Vermicelli), Pho, Goi Cuon, Com (Rice), appetizers and some special dishes. However, when you read a little more closely, you can see that they note the sauces under the Fit NoLa section are vegan! That means the other Com and Bun dishes can easily have vegan sauces, too. Just specify you're vegan - vegan sauce, no egg for the Com dishes.

So what's to get? Multiple types of rolls like zucchini, avocado, shiitake or tofu. Brown rice noodles or regular. Then for the Bun or Rice/ Com, you can order with tofu, zucchini, or eggplant. Of course, there's the pho! Yes, vegan pho! There's a vegan special curry, too. Yes! So many tasty choices, it is great fun to come here and feel like you are not second class. So easy, and so tasty.

With so few Vietnamese places watching our vegan palates, this is a treat. It's high quality, and veg*ns can have some, too! Enjoy!

Pros: Vegan sauce & dishes galore, Brown rice noodles, Brown rice

Cons: Butter on Banh Mi (request none)
