So-so experience - Edit
Filling but not so satisfying to me.
Read moreI ordered Tantuni with rice and it came without any sauce/garlic yoghurt (I wasn't told that before). When I asked for the yoghurt which was supposed to be a part of the meal I ordered, I was told that there is no more yoghurt because it was a holiday.
Then I got pure yoghurt on it instead of a promised chick pea sauce...
The food did not convince me.
I missed some more spices and salt and a crispier consistency of the vegan meat.
The salat we ordered had some nice pickled tofu with it.
Service was friendly and quick.

Great food & ethos - Edit
Great salads and soups eaten here. Friendly service. Away from the main tourist areas in an area defying gentrification. Located next to another vegan eatery so lots of options available between the two.

Lovely - Edit
This was a very lively spot. It was a very busy street with lots of food places side by side. Our food was freshly made and there was a good selection of small and larger items and good Greek beer. We ordered and sat with our beers entertained by the street life and enjoyed our delicious food when it arrived. Liked the social enterprise aspect of the business.

tastiest food in athens - Edit
we had the tantuni with rice, some homemade bread, the potato gözleme and the homemade ginger lemonade and it was my favourite meal i've eaten in athens by FAR. soooo flavourful and delicious, i have never had anything like the gözleme before. the street is not very aesthetic but the actual restaurant is really lovely. i love the collective feel and the staff were so lovely and friendly. huge portions for such a good price. could not recommend more! go here!

Excellent - Edit
Really liked it a lot … had the Tantuni … and the mushroom pie … really good and at a really great price … definitely an everyday place … just for the price alone … … but the fact that the food is really great makes it the perfect place to do lunch or a fast food place… Highly recommend 👍

Amazing kebab rice bowl - Edit
Not much else to say really. The portion was generous and good value, the rice and chickpeas.and salad were nice and seasoned but that kebab...juicy doesn't even begin to do it justice. Another amazing vegan option in Athens

Didn’t like the place - Edit
I ended up not eating here. The place felt u clean to me, the area is kind of dirty all around, and I’m looking at it when I arrived I didn’t feel comfortable getting any food. Even the menus has many food stains on them.

Lovely initiative and good food! - Edit
I really like this initiative: Fully vegan food-bar run by migrants. I wanted to go here to support and try the food which was also very nice! I had a homemade kombucha with a köfte burger. The people were very friendly and the prices were very affordable. Would definitely recommend!

Decent Food in Alternative Atmosphere - Edit
Magic Kitchen is a small take away restaurant in the autonomous quarter of Athens. The atmosphere around the place is really nice if you’re more the alternative type of person, I really enjoyed it.
Read moreThe food however wasn’t that spectacular. I tried the Tantuni dish (soy kebab), which was okay, but didn’t really convince me to come there again.
