Decent option but could be better - Edit
Came here with high hopes, the food was good but it was just good and for the price I expected a bit more (both taste and portion) nice for a variety of choices but compared to other places around Bali, I wouldn't prioritise. 2 side-sized dishes and a coffee was 175K and you can get a lot more for that elsewhere.

I went here specifically as it states that they accept credit cards and they unfortunately DO NOT. I spoke with owner Cassie who not only helped me select a dish but also made me a take away for the airport in the morning (my plan with my WIse card) I had about 136IDR and she gladly accepted that, so grateful 🙏🏻

We ordered a tempeh eggplant dish and some of their homemade noodles. Both dishes were great and quite different from each other--the former having bold flavors and the latter having the subtle savory of home cooking.

I just ate here and had a wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I mentioned that I can only eat gluten-free, and she was very knowledgeable about what I could have, which made me feel completely at ease. The food was absolutely delicious too (highly recommend the Thai Basil Tempeh - wow!). Definitely go, you won’t be disappointed.

Had one of our best meals at the Mai3 Restaurant. It is really a hidden gem of a vegan and vegetarian restaurant. The food at Mai3 is so so good that we dined twice in 3 days and also packed some for our flight out from Bali. The owner, Ms. Lily was warm and very helpful with the suggestions on what to eat. It has a huge menu and no onion, garlic, eggs are used and very reasonably priced for the big portions they serve. The Kung Pao dish is a MUST Try - they substituted the oyster mushroom with tofu-tempeh for us and it was absolutely delicious. We had the mixed vegetables (cap chye) and basil rice on our first dine in. The food is freshly prepared, and most tofu/Tempeh they make in-house. It has ample seating and the indoor seating is a good respite from the heat. Every dish was a flavour bomb - MaPo Tofu (with their softest, delicious, homemade tofu), Nasi Bakar and the outstanding Mushroom Satay. They make most ingredients like tofu, tempeh, sauces in-house - which makes the food taste fresh and wholesome. The prices are very reasonable and portions are big. Everything we tasted was delicious. Highly recommend to visit this place to try authentic flavours of vegetarian/vegan Chinese and Indonesian food. Great service too. Thank you.

Read moreHonestly some of the best vegan Chinese food I have ever eaten, and at unbelievably good value for money.
The menu is huge and could be overwhelming, but the portions are fairly small and allow you to order and taste lots of variety.
Every single dish had lots of flavour and was healthy! They don’t add MSG, Gluten or garlic to a lot of them, as indicated on the menu.
Whenever I’m staying near I will undoubtedly be ordering again!

Best vegan comfort food in Bali - Edit
I placed a massive delivery order and every single dish was phenomenal. Very tasty and spicy (when the dish was supposed to be), an explosion of flavors. A varied menu with so many great choices and many of them unique such as broccoli and goji berries in ginger sauce.
