Good with room for improvement

The food was tasty, healthy and mostly well-seasoned. The tofu mushroom curry was a highlight. Not a traditional dish but very enjoyable. The staff are really fast and friendly and speak English very well.

It could definitely be spicier for me, but I understand why it's flavored like this in France. I'll ask for a green chili in my tadka next time, because the dal was a little boring without it. The sugar in the mango lassi wasn't completely dissolved, and that ruined it a little for me.

Pros: Healthy , Friendly and fast staff, Cheap and tasty

Cons: Could be spicier, Lassi is too sugary

Very good Indian food. Simple and delicious.

Despite the causal looks of this place, the experience of the food is very good. You get three smaller dishes to try, with rice and naan. We also had the entree and desert. And as drinks vegan lassi, Indian tea, and wine. I haven’t had lassi in years, as it’s never vegan. It’s usually quiet and calm.

The whole place is vegetarian and almost everything can be adjusted to be fully vegan.

Pros: Multiple flavours and tastes on one tray, Affordable, Usually nice and quiet

Cons: Limited options

A unique gem in Toulouse - chef owned

How often do you find an organic creative Indian French cuisine? We found it in Toulouse at chez Prashad. Dinner was Indian, healthy version, tasty. Attention to detail and presentation, a pleasure. Nice ambiance, location, right music and sound volume. Thali is served at dinner - prix fix - everything was delicious, easy to digest. We had samosa (not deep fried) served with light salad, samosa was filled with spiced peas. Thali had rice, dal, little seasoned salad and a mint yogurt condiment, Kerala style zucchini with tofu in coconut sauce. Curried eggplant, and fresh organic chapati. For dessert we had coconut cardamom tart, perfect light. Chai was perfectly made, ready to drink. Like the touch of paper table cloth. Clean and hygienic. Staff wears masks in corona times. All in all, an enjoyable experience. Reasonable prices.

The name says it all: eat differently

To me this is a restaurant where when you finish eating you feel younger and healthier than before
I'm not into desserts but even Prasad desserts are not too sweet and feel healthy.
The evening thali is the best :)

It's really good that we can have this side of indian cuisine in Toulouse!

Pros: Healthy, Tasty, Authentic

Nice food not very spicy

A nice restaurant on a busy street. I went there for dinner and had the thali: dhal, raita, spicy aubergine with tomato sauce, veggies, rice, and chapati, all for 13€. My father also had a cardamom lassi which he said was unexpected and delicious. Food was not spicy-hot, the only dish with chili was the aubergine one. I would recommend and go back myself.

Pros: Balanced spicy food, Fairly priced, Takeaway

Okay. Limited

If you're used to eating Indian food you'll be disappointed with this place. The only options were the thalis, with either/both entree/dessert. Servings were small (both our men left still hungry) and not very spicy. The service was fine, but as we were the only people there, that is to be expected. The samosas we had as entrees lacked any potato; they were just peas.
The food was fresh and the desserts were good but other than that we were disappointed.

Pros: Fresh food, friendly service

Cons: Lack of options, small servings

Absolutely great!

I can only recommend this restaurant! I had the thali which came with naan, dal, eggplant curry with caradmom, zuccini curry, rice and yogurt sauce. There's a vegan option available which comes without the yogurt sauce. The thali was delicious aswell as the abricot pie and the vegan mango lassi that I had. Things are not clearly labeled as vegan but the friendly staff is happy to serve you with a delicious vegan option. 5 stars, we had a great evening!

Cons: vegan options aren't clearly labeled

OK

Insipid, and the lassie was tiny, especially for the price, but otherwise fine.

Great in the evening, healthy for lunch

This restaurant is one of the few vegetarian restaurants of Toulouse, and it offers good vegan choices. The food is totally organic and fresh, which is very appreciable. The place is quiet and the staff is friendly. I asked the chef if I can have a vegan indian dessert and he did it just for me. The rest of the lunch was good even if the food should have more taste with more spices. I tried the lunch and the indian menu of the dinner, that I find more interesting in terms of flavour. It offers an excellent vegetarian thali (that can easily be made vegan). Portions are not huge but sufficient. Since last year, the owner organizes one special dinner per month with very different cooking styles. It generally costs 35 euros for 5 dishes and 3 desserts and can be made vegan each time. I recommend those dinners. On the whole, this restaurant is good value for money.

Pros: vegan choices, friendly staff, organic and fresh, special dinner once a month

Cons: lack of spices for lunch

typical French Indian meal

I took the main meal (thali) with dessert. I thought the ideas were good, roti, rice, dhal, and 2 curries with tofu, but as I often find in France, it wasn't really an Indian flavour. Not a lot of spices. The coconut tart was nice and I really did like the dhal and roti.

Indian food - vegan options

Manger autrement serves tasty organic food and offers veganised options of their Indian cuisine. We visited on a Saturday night and it was packed, make sure to call ahead. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

mess differently:)

A small oasis of peace in a busy street. Food is really delicious and mostly vegan, however, the portion is quite small. You can see, that the chef is using his heart when preparing and serving the lunch :)
