Lovely vegan spot - Edit
Totally worth the visit even though it took a trip across the river for us to visit. They have an interesting vegan menu, good coffee & juice, an open shaded outside area and friendly staff… everything you need for a lovely brunch.
Read moreI had the ‘make your own’ option where you choose your type of toast and then add dishes to top it… this is sourdough with tofu scramble chickpea avocado basil pesto. My cousin had the king oyster mushroom & avocado on toast with vegan feta and hollandaise sauce… looked so good, I’ve got to try it next time!
Pros: all vegan , outside area , diverse menu

Tasty food, big menu - Edit
Food was delicious. The wasabi croquettes were yummy but could've done with a touch more wasabi.
Read moreI had the chicken swarmara and my boyfriend had the August special focaccia sandwich. The latter could have been a bit bigger or come with crisps like the swarmara did.
Both dinners were very flavourful and we thoroughly enjoyed them! Just wish I had room for pudding as would have loved to try the tiramisu 🤤
Service was perfect

Fast service, flavourful food - Edit
Listened to the reviews and ordered the cubano sandwich. Amazing flavour and still felt really light, which is my kind of meal in the Balinese heat. Had it delivered on Gojek, super quick delivery and convenient packaging.

Unreal vegan food - Edit
Eaten here twice so far in Canggu, the staff are so welcoming and friendly. I had the tofu hollandaise toast and it was very tasty - haven’t had a hollandaise sauce in a long time!!! I then got the buttermilk chicken burger take away and it was delicious. Good for a bit of a cheeky hangover meal for sure!

Very good and all vegan - Edit
I really enjoyed the food here, everything I had was delicious.
Read moreHowever, there are some small things that made me only give 4 stars: My friend ordered their food without tomato but it had tomato anyway, they forgot the sugar for our iced tea, and the watermelon salad had almost no feta (not worth it writing it on the menu as an ingredient - it was just a few tiny crumbles)

Favorite Restaurant of the Whole Trip! - Edit
We loved this 100% PB restaurant so much, we came back on three different days for 5 different meals! I loved the creativity of their menu, and every dish had amazing flavor.
Read moreBreakfast: so delighted to see so many savory breakfast options. The Tofu Hollandaise packed in a ton of flavor, and was a better serving size compared to Kynd Community. The Chickpea Pesto was a decent sized serving for two pieces of toast, and also very tasty. We enjoyed splitting the lemon blueberry pancakes for "breakfast dessert," and I can't get over how good the light and fluffy lemon creme between the pancakes was! It was accented with a blueberry compote, strawberries, and mint, and I am salivating just thinking about it.
Lunch/Dinner:
Try the calamari rings! I think these are the best vegan meat/seafood dupe I have ever tried. I had never heard of konjac before, but the texture was shockingly like a perfectly cooked piece of calamari. The batter was crunchy without being too oily.
The Manggi Cubano was a flavor bomb of a sandwich with jackfruit/mushroom meat similar in texture to seitan. Topped with gooey cheese, caramelized onions, and a delicious sauce, it was a total win.
My husband got the Chicken Schwarma pita, and loved the flavor, but felt like the density was lacking a bit.
The Japanese Katsu Curry was my go-to for more than one dinner. The breaded tofu had great texture, and the sauce had the right thickness and perfect flavor. Again, salivating thinking about this one.
Hubs got the Nasi Campur Bali dish our first night, and loved this one! It's a great sampler platter of multiple flavors. I only avoided due to a peanut aversion, but it was a well-presented plate.
Lastly, if you end your meal with a biscoff cheesecake, you will not regret it. Creamy, smooth, and amazing flavor, I never thought I would choose a non-chocolate dessert... Twice.
Pros: Creativity of menu, great diversity of choices, Better portion sizes compared to other restaurants, Cool vibes, great service
Cons: Slightly pricier, but reasonable for portion sizes

100th Review! Natural, Cozy, Friendly, TASTY - Edit
Have you ever found yourself sipping an iced cocoa drink in the mid-day heat of Bali? Surrounded by lush, green plants, sitting in a rustic, but cozy wooden chair, my gorgeous date and I finished a fried calamari appetizer-comfort food.
Read moreWe stayed and did some remote work on the complimentary wifi for a few hours and later continued with a delicious pesto pasta: a zesty, flavorful dish with ripe tomatoes and lemon wedge to taste. My date had marinara meatball meal, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had a taste and really liked the sauce.
I'll spare you the details, but let's just say my date and I went on to have an amazing evening. (They say pesto is an afrodesiac 😉)
ANYWAY, despite being such a wonderful place to stay for hours, the prices were quite reasonable and the location is minutes away from the beach, a supermarket, and even several spas. Overall, great location!
Don't miss this restaurant.! I've been here many times and always appreciate. The breakfast menu is fantastic as well.
Also, the blueberry cheesecake is bomb!!!
Pros: Cozy vibes, Delicious food, Friendly staff
Cons: You can hear some traffic, Mosquitos during certain times (sit near fan!), No live music (not really a con IMO)

Favourite restaurant from our whole holiday - Edit
Loved this place so much! It was only 5 minutes walk from our hotel so we came here a lot! Loved the decor and the vibe here. The food was delicious, you’ve got to try the Biscoff cheesecake - it was to die for!! It’s an added bonus that they give you water for free and all taxes and service charges are included on the menu. Hands down my favourite restaurant from our whole trip. I’ll be back next time we’re in Bali!

Uses Inflammatory Oil & Shames Balinese Culture - Edit
It’s very disappointing to find out that this restaurant, which has an extensive menu and enthusiastic staff, cooks all of its dishes in inflammatory refined palm oil. For any vegan (or environmentalist!) interested in health - this is a no-go. Whereas it is normal/common these days in Bali, the legitimate, old school restaurants use “minyak kelapa bali asli” or Balinese original coconut oil. Moreover - I ordered a jamu, and they brought a loose blend of tumeric ginger and water (mostly water!) to the table. I was already disappointed, but this really saddened me. So much in Bali has been cheapened/superficial - please, not the jamu. Just give pressed jamu (high medicinal content) and hold steadfast to authentic Balinese traditions. If we wanted to sell out, we would go to I am Vegan Babe 🤦🏽♀️.
Read morePros: Extensive menu, Nice staff , Able to make things GF
Cons: Uses Bimoli - deathly refined palm oil, Has cashews in everything, Betrays Balinese traditional culinary customs
