Atwater Market

The food court is quite vegan friendly: you can find Falafel Yoni, Lèche Desserts, Ca Lem, a juice bar... And an Asian place called Paloma that can whip up a vegan Pad Thai by removing a couple ingredients. I had high hopes for Le Petit Sao, but unfortunately they marinate their tofu in oyster sauce.

As for the vendors, it's a great market for fruits, veggies and breads. You'll even find tofu if you look hard enough. Just avoid the meat and cheese sections!

Go to look around

The space is very nice, but the products - from vegan cheeze to fresh vegetables - are so expensive.
Go walk around for the ambiance and photo ops (during the week: weekends are hectic!), but shop elsewhere.

Fresh produce, food vendors

Good market with lots of fresh produce, with at least one vendor of organic produce. Nuts. Flowers. Pizza, including vegan ones. I bought some home canning, a good “Relish Dorée” by Le Potager du Gourmet, St-Michel-de-Napierville. (There are meat and cheese vendors. The meat was in a separate section, and I managed to completely avoid it.)
Afterwards, go for a pleasant walk along the canal.

Pros: fresh produce, including some organic
