Disappointed by the taste - Edit
TLDR: Bad Food, Poor Service, Long Wait Times
Read moreAfter flying in early on a Thursday, I was looking forward to some Korean food! I saw that this was one of the top suggestions. I arrived about an hour after opening, though it was a bit difficult to find. The atmosphere was quiet, only three customers. The first red flag was although the two workers clearly saw me and another customer waiting, they did not say anything to us for 5 minutes. I shrugged it off as they seemed busy cooking. After ordering gimbap and tteokbooki and paying, I waited another 15-25 minutes for my food. Second and greatest red flag, the food genuinely just wasn’t good. The gimbap had unripe vegetables, soggy seaweed, and soggy, metallic tasting rice. The tteokbokki was worse than many ones you can find at a convenience store. It was spicy - which I expected - but didn’t taste of anything beyond that. Altogether, it was cheap, and I got what I paid for, not what I hoped.

Esperienza coreana (vegana) autentica - Edit
Un piccolo chiosco, menu con cibo coreano - street food buonissimo. La signora sembra un pò burbera in realtà con noi è stata gentilissima! Si spende davvero poco, e i piatti sono fantastici. Consigliatissimo, full vegan.

It does the job but it's not a great spot to eat and the shop assistant wasn't very friendly that day. The gimbaps were good.

You gotta order the gimbap. I love this location because it’s nestled in between a bunch of art galleries.

We ordered the Tteokbokki, fried dumplings and fried tofu gimbap for a total of 22.000 ₩ to share. The fried dumplings were so good! Would go there again

Cute but slow - Edit
The food was okay it just took 1.5 hours to order and get (I was 7 in the queue after taking 30 minutes to order). They also don't like having pictures taken of the food being cooked, which is fine, just a warning, as I watched a woman in front of me get yelled at for it.

Unfortunately not a good experience - Edit
Although the food was to a good standard, the service was really not optimal. We ordered lunch around 2 pm (it had some customers, but wasn't full), and waited for 45 minutes for a kimbap and a tteokbokki, which are usually quick dishes. When we asked how much longer it would take, the owner/cook got very upset and dismissive, eventually saying it would take another five minutes and she would add something extra for the waiting time. While other customers were served much earlier (even the ones who arrived later), we had to wait a total of 50 min for a kimbap, 70 min for a tteokbokki and got nothing extra as implied. I understand that sometimes things don't work as planned, but the whole time the owner was very impatient and dismissive, sometimes irritated. I would skip it and enjoy one of the many other vegan restaurants in the area instead.

Service is hot and miss - Edit
Most recently dined here on a Thursday evening. Food was nice/ok but the extremely slow (and rude!) service made it really not worth it…

Good for a vegan traditional experience - Edit
This is a small but warm place. Menu had a lot of options to try traditional Korean food that is all vegan. I think the spicy tteokbokki was the best. I found the ramen a bit meh, sort of like a 2 minute noodle. But was a good experience and its location is around a tone of shops which is fun for after. Very filling and affordable!

Korean Vegan Snacks! - Edit
Do not miss this restaurant. This place has the most delicious tteokbokki and gimbap in the area. Sizes are great and offered warmed seats. We also ordered the ramen. Please note they have a lunch break from 3pm to 5pm and sometimes they sold out before closing.

Not the best - Edit
I would say the food was average which is surprising because the reviews on here say otherwise. It was tasty but maybe I just had high expectations! Unfortunately for us it was super busy so we had to wait an hour after we ordered.
