We sampled a variety of options, including the delectable doro wat and the flavorful vegetarian lentil stew. The communal dining style added to the enjoyment, making it a perfect place for sharing a meal with friends and family.
One of the standout features of Restaurant Mesob is the traditional coffee ceremony. This cultural experience provided a wonderful conclusion to our meal, as we watched the coffee being roasted, brewed, and served in the traditional manner. It was not just a drink, but an immersive journey into the heart of Ethiopian and Eritrean traditions.

Seit 6 Jahren besuche ich regelmässig das Restaurant Mesob. Die Ostafrikanksche Küche ist so vielseitig und lecker. Das vegane Mittagsmenu ist sehr günstig und lecker.

Decided to try this restaurant because of Happy Cow and really enjoyed it! The vegan platter was very flavorful, filling, and satisfying. Loved the greens and lentils on the platter.... So much so that we almost went back again the next day! It was a bit out of the way from where we were staying but will definitely be returning again soon.
