Delicious over-night oatmeal

Mingle cafe belongs to an accommodation next door, also called Mingle. If you stay there, you get a separate discounted menu. It also has a vegan option.
The regular menu has vegan options too, but double check they truly are.
I had the overnight oats and vegan breakfast. The overnight oats were super delicious (I ordered without honey)! The vegan breakfast wasn’t amazing but I was glad they offered it anyway.

Expensive For What It Was

Housed in a very character-filled, 100 year-old building near Chinatown, this place oozed charm throughout. There are a couple of fully vegan items on the menu, but be aware that some others that are labelled as such contain honey as a topping (or granola, which contains honey), but these can easily omitted. Also be careful when ordering to coconut coffee. I first assumed it would be diary-free as standard, but after double-checking I found that you have to opt for oat milk. When I did get said coffees (with correct milk), they were easily the best part of the meal. I had a preference for the iced version though this isn’t to say that hot wasn’t brilliant. As for the food, I went for the full vegan breakfast. It was a fairly sizeable plate with a good range of items and textures, but overall it was lacking seasoning, nothing really stood-out and the chia pudding suffered massively for the lack of sweetness that would have come from it’s non-vegan additions.
