Read moreNachos and chimi were very tasty. Got the chimi without seitan and it was still loaded, with generous portions of guac and queso. A bit more rice and less beans would have balanced the rich goopiness of the other fillings.

Was hopping on a Sat night, our protein was a bit over but the sauces helped. Nice sized burritos and staff was working hard to get people their food. Glad to see a vegan place doing well.

Read moreI ordered the Mulita but I think they gave me a Quesadillas instead, lol. Whatever. It as super tasty. Also got the Asada Seitan tacos and a n/a drink to top it all off. The tacos were also fabulous and the drink was good.
Not a whole lot of seating but you can squeeze in! I will totally be back here and Mis Tacones is now my fav Mexican vegan spot.

Best vegan Mexican I’ve had in Portland - Edit
Every dish wasn’t an extraordinary masterpiece of Mexican vegan cuisine, but that didn’t matter. It was still good. So far, it’s the best vegan Mexican in Portland. Actually, this place is better than a lot of non-Mexican vegan restaurants. I didn’t regret any of my choices or anything I ate. That’s saying a lot considering the places I’ve been to recently. I love the decor and the staff. It’s a cool vegan Mexican spot with really good food. Bonus: queer and POC.

Read moreI tried the Burrito Ahogado (Wet) for the first time and it was packed with so many delicious ingredients covered in Jalapeño Salsa Verde 🌯 Even though it has jalapeños, it wasn’t spicy at all (perfect for me since I’m not a big fan of spicy food) 🥰 I’m totally in love with their wet burrito ❤️
I also tried the Breakfast Quesadilla on another day which is on their weekend breakfast menu 🥞 The Garlic Cashew Crema was super flavorful and so creamy 🤤
I seriously want to try everything on their menu 🤣✨

Tbh, was a little letdown. I got 3 street tacos. All the elements for greatness are there, fake meats, cheeses, sauces….but somehow it didn’t come together into something amazingly flavorful to me. Maybe I need to try a different section of the menu.

Everything about this place is amazing. The decor, music, menu options, drinks, and food. Fully vegan menu with burritos, tortas, tacos, nachos, quesadillas, all the things. We tried the Al pastor torta, Asada wet burrito and micheladas. Can’t wait to go back and try more things.

👉 We came in for lunch after 11:30 expecting to eat around noon but no, the lunch menu starts at 2 PM! 😯 It reminded me of that old 90's Michael Douglas movie and him being a minute late to order breakfast. ☹️ It was great food tho' and the generous portions allowed us to take home plenty. 👍👍

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? Diverse menu? ✅ Quality ingredients? ✅ Exciting flavors? ✅ I probably go 2-3x per month and bring new friends and family every time and no one has had a negative review. The only thing I wish was different was their size. They need a little more room these days, since there is almost always a line out the door.

There is seating inside and outside but it was hot so we sat inside next to the bar. Ordered via QR code. Ordered nachos to share as well as a Cali B burrito and papas con soyrizo empanada. Nachos were delicious and cali B burrito was so flavorful and delicious. Didn’t feel it needed the fries but they were fine inside too. Empanada was good but the nachos and burrito were way better in my opinion. Everyone really enjoyed the meal and we will definitely return next time we’re in Portland.
