Annoyed It's not fully vegan so I can't give 5 star.

Myself and GC were feeling the hunger and decided to go to a random place for breakfast as the places we had planned to visit were disappointing.

I didn't know it was going to be a 20 minute wait and normally I would have looked somewhere else but we were so hungry after the walk.

I was reading reviews when in the queue and people were saying the hash browns were worth going for alone.

I go the plant based breakfast with a side of hashbrowns(2 for £5) and a large oat latte(No charge for oat milk and it's oatly barista). GC got the tofu shakshuka and tea.

This was hands down the nicest breakfast I have ever eaten at a restaurant, the hashbrowns lived up to the hype the breakfast was perfectly cooked and the coffee was the second best I've ever had.

I also tried some of GCs shakshuka and it was incredible as well.

The price was brilliant for £45 and the staff were lovely.

Just as a warning if you have auditory sensory issues, it was really loud in there at least around lunch time so bring loops/ear defenders.

Some of the nicest food I've ever eaten

Purp decided that they wanted to try this place for breakfast after reading a lot of positive reviews for it. Google said that it wasn't busy and there'd be no wait, but it was lying and there was a huge queue outside. We were waiting for around 20 minutes before we were about to be seated. So, naturally, I was hungry and annoyed, and ready to write a negative review about how no food was worth waiting in the cold for 20 minutes when you could just go to another place instead and be seated straight away, etc. But I was wrong. Oh, was I so very wrong...

I got the tofu shakshuka and a cup of everyday tea with oat milk. I also tried some of Purp's oat latte, plant based breakfast, and a piece of a hash brown as well.

The tofu shakshuka was genuinely one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. It was rich, tomatoey, peppery, and absolutely amazing.

The breakfast was very nice, and the hash brown was superb. I'm not surprised that they claim that they're famous, and when watching the wait staff bringing orders out from the kitchen almost every single one had hash browns.

The tea was lovely and strong, and I was given the perfect amount of oat milk to add to it.

The latte was also lovely and strong.

There is no extra charge for oat milk, but there is for other plant milk.

The staff were lovely. If I lived in Brighton I would eat here at least once a week.

If you're considering eating here, do it, you will not be disappointed. Even if you have to queue outside for 4 days and nights, in a storm, listening to Baby Shark on repeat, you still won't be disappointed.

Pros: Amazing food, No charge for oat milk, Lovely staff

Cons: Long wait (it's understandable though)

Amazing brunch

I went here with a group of non-vegan friends for brunch. I had the falafel bowl and it was delicious. The green tahini dressing was so flavoursome and all of the grilled vegetables in the salad were so refreshing on the hot day I when I visited.

Loads of great vegan options

Moksha has so many lovely vegan breakfast and lunch items - my favourite is the tofu scramble, but they also have poke and falafel bowls and vegan takes on classic brunch foods like shakshuka and eggs benedict. They have Bonsoy and oat milk alternatives for coffee and a great range of veggie food, too

Pros: Family friendly, Good value for money, Big range of vegan options

Great vegan options

Really enjoyed our brunch here. Lots of choice. I went for the vegan Shakshouka and it was delicious. The hash browns were all really tasty. There was a queue the whole time we were there and the inside was packed too. A good indication that the food in a cafe is really good!

Can’t fault it!

We have recently had few very mediocre eating out experiences so it’s such a pleasant surprise (but it’s really what a good cafe should be) to good menu choices, tasty food, beautiful presentation, pleasant decor and good staff! All in one doesn’t happen often these days! We went for most talked tofu Benedict and shakshuka. Food was top marks but drinks 8/10, deffo will be back 😊

Pros: Very good selection, Lively waiting staff, Attention to detail

Cons: I found matcha a bit too strong towards bitter, Expensive , I’ve in freshly pressed juices in winter

Amazing breakfasts

Moksha has some really delicious vegan breakfast options that are quite different to the usual offerings. We went for a tofu Benedict and a shakshuka. The shakshuka was hot and nicely spiced, served in a skillet with crumbled tofu and vegan yoghurt on top and a soft tortilla to dip. The tofu Benedict had a velvety hollandaise sauce with smoked tofu and a mixture of fresh green vegetables (broccoli, spinach, beans, edamame). Both were delicious and I'd happily order either one again! We also went for a side of hash browns which were wonderfully crispy.

On top of the great food the service was extremely fast, with our food served very quickly. A perfect way to spend a rainy November morning.

Super tasty vegan options

This is an incredibly popular eatery and the reason is the food, the food, the food! Plus the service, of course.
The staff operate like a well oiled machine by clearing tables and the queues of customers eagerly waiting for a table.
The excellent service continues from when you're seated. The food comes out fairly quickly considering the volume of orders. The quality, freshness and presentation of the exceptionally tasty food is incredible.
Photo is of Tofu Benedict.

Pros: Vegan and tofu Benedict, Service, Great understanding of what vegan means!

Really good breakfast

Had the vegan shaskuka which was incredible. Really good depth of flavour and also filling. Also had a side hash brown which was quite dense but also delicious!

Reasonably priced food for what you get, it was just the juices that we found a little overpriced.

Staff were really attentive and friendly, great service.

Would definitely come back when in Brighton!

Pros: Great vegan options , Really good flavours , Friendly staff

Cons: Juices quite expensive

Wow!

Had the vegan tofu benedict and it was amazing! Can’t wait to go back for it again! The tofu was so well flavoured and a great put together with the greens and little hash browns. Can see why it’s so busy at the weekends.

Pros: Good vegan options , Delicious food
