Vegan ramen in a really not vegan environment - Edit
A not welcoming ambience, young staff that does the bare minimum, where wagyu meat is fire cooked at the tables for most tables as their hero product.
Read moreWith 2 vegan ramen options.
I ordered the spicy one, which was way way too creamy and thick, it made it look more like a pasta sauce than a ramen broth.
Shane because the flavour wasn't too bad.
Pros: I liked the black Sésame seeds butter in the ramen, I liked the ramen toppings
Cons: The frozen tofu was so dry, The broth was more of a cream, The smell of wagyu beef been cooked

Few vegan options - but delicious - Edit
We went to this restaurant and I was a little bit taken aback first.
Read moreMany non Japanese people and very few vegan options.
However the waiter was friendly and the design of the restaurant was pretty cool. I went for the non spicy Ramen and it was gorgeous. I have to try too cook this at home. The only negative point was that the tofu felt and tasted like a sponge and I would've preferred more vegetables in general. However the ramen itself was so delicious that I wont lower my rating.
Pros: Delicious food, Nice waiter, English menu
Cons: Tofu tasted like a sponge , Few vegan options

Fine, but not super tasty - Edit
Nice to have two vegan ramen options and a side and sushi, but honestly have had better food elsewhere. The soy milk ramen was quite weak on flavour, and the aubergine miso I just cooked aubergine with a dollop of miso paste on top.

Dining Together - Edit
Lovely food and ambiance. Difficult to find food for both the husband and myself in Japan (he’s a meat-eater), but this was a delight!

Was it really vegan? - Edit
We ate there after a long day strolling trough the city. We ordered both vegan ramens and were asked for allergies which we denied but said we were vegans. When we finally got our ramen it looked nice. Flavour was ok. I definitely had much better ramen in Japan which were vegan for sure. Later on i found something in my Soup which looked like parts of meat. That was really unfortunate. I was disgusted. When we asked what it might be the chef and the server both said that it was tofu. I am pretty sure it wasn‘t tho. Make sure to make clear you are vegan if you want the vegan option without negativ surprises.

Acceptable - Edit
Ramen was fine. Of the seven vegan ramens I have had in Japan it was in the bottom two. By no means bad, but the flavor just wasn’t top notch (definitely not enough to convince someone that vegan ramen is just as good as traditional).
Read moreAlso, they are constantly flambé ing raw wagyu beef in other customers ramen which is pretty nasty to see and smell.
Acceptable if eating with a meat eater, but there are better vegan ramen options nearby.

Good ramen - Edit
There are two vegan ramen options. I had the spicy one and it was very nice. It wasn't too spicy, good level for me. Thick broth with nice sesame flavour. Tasty tofu on top.

Decent vegan ramen near Nishiki market - Edit
Two vegan ramens available as well as some sushi. I tried the new spicy ramen with a soy iced latte. I’ve tried quite a few vegan ramens during my trip now and this one was fine - tasty, good noodles, some tofu on top - but probably not my favourite flavour wise. Good location and nice space though.

Extremely disappointing - Edit
I was super excited to find a vegan ramen and then super disappointed by it, unfortunately. The broth was very bland and for some reason a stone cold block of tofu was put in my soup, making everything immediately lukewarm. The tofu had the texture of being thawed and refrozen a few times - not what I was expecting. I hope the vegan option can be improved, would love to see more of them around town.

Great Ramen - Edit
Nice casual location to grab a bowl of vegan Ramen. They have 2 vegan options on their menu with different ingredients, so if one isn’t your thing you have options. They also have traditional meat-based ramen, making it a good spot for mixed diet diners.

Excellent vegan options - Edit
The vegan soy ramen was delicious. I added some spicy stuff to give it a bit more of a kick. I also had the vegan Inari sushi. Everything was great. My partner had non-veg options and loved it all. Nice modern looking place, fast paced and they got us a seat even though it was packed.

Nice ramen - Edit
Mild vegan ramen based on soy milk with the option of tofu or egg on the top. I would’ve wished for it to be a bit more flavorful but it was tasty! Non vegan ramen was also tasty according to my companion.

Tasty ramen - Edit
This was our third ramen stop in as many days and was a pretty decent contender. The broth was super seasame flavoured which I liked. There was a slice of tofu which I was grateful for however it was a slightly strange texture- quite dense and spongey. The staff were lovely and immediately pointed me to the options I could have based on my dietaries after asking about them.

Incredible vegan ramen in beautiful calm setting - Edit
Japanese owner was a chef in Australia for seven years, speaks excellent English. Food is a fusion of Japanese-French cuisine with a touch of Australian influence. I’m already planning my return visit for this weekend, they specialise in croffles for brunch (not vegan yet but open to growing!)
