I came to this restaurant for the first time today, and I could not believe my taste buds! All the food comes as a surprise? It tastes better than it looks and the service is TOP TIER. Even our dog was treated like a god! I thank the staff for making food that makes people happy. THANK YOU!

I was really looking forward to eating here given all the amazing reviews but the service was not only exceptionally slow despite at least 4 members of staff and only 2 tables taken initially. You could feel the stress in staff as they did not communicate well and orders went to the wrong tables leaving one person to eat alone on several tables.
Read moreThe food was fine but not really flavorful. The omellette tasted and felt like a lasagne sheet with pesto and veg in it. The croissants seem of mediocre quality (e.g. ready to bake rather than made fresh) and are not worth the price.
Overall the place is quite small but very "instagramable". The plates are nice and decor is lovely. However, given the subpar service on the day I visited and mediocre food I would not come back or recommend this place.
I hope this was just a one off and that they usually offer better service and food.

Please know that we take customer feedback very seriously... Maybe that's why in general we have such great reviews that you mentioned. Since there is little constructiveness in your comment to respond to I will just focus on the few things that might actually help other guests assess what our place is about before visiting.
The Lasagna Omelette - I guess if you were looking for a basic tofu scramble you would be disappointed. We try not to offer food that people can easily make at home. But of course, flavor is a very subjective matter to respond to, although certainly a chef like yourself would know the difference between a rice paper and a lasagna sheet when used in a meal.
Staff screw ups happen - we try to keep that to a minimum by doing extensive training. As it so happens, the week of your visit we were training a new staff member - it is likely that other members were walking her through the workflow or teaching her something causing some distraction and mixed up order. (We do focus more on training during the less busy times of day)
Usually people would just leave a review and move on. Sadly we are still getting your reviews and comments across other platforms (IG, google) - obviously we left a strong impression. That being the case all Morning People staff would like to thank you - thanks a lot for deciding to not come back to our place. A few more visits by you and Marbella might be left with 0 plant based restaurants instead of 1...

Small and welcoming place that fills you with great energy. The staff are exceptional, and the menu is 100% vegan with creative and original flavors. I tried their specialty, the Tofu Benedict, and absolutely loved it. The almond croissant was also delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

I picked this place based on all the other amazing reviews and anywhere that can make vegan eggs Benedict is worth a trip for me! I was not disappointed, if you’re nearby to this restaurant it’s a must visit. The flavour in the tofu Benedict is unmatched to any I’ve eaten since being vegan (8 years and counting), the ham and cheese bagel had so many flavours to it from the dill in the cream cheese to the pastrami - amazing. And to top it off their coffee is delicious - we had the iced oat latte and it was smooth yet rich blend.

Very happy to have found this cafe. Delicious breakfast/brunch options. All vegan and some good gluten-free options. Food was so good, I had the red pesto and asparagus omelette two days running and it was so delicious that I am still thinking about it a week later! Also tried the yoghurt bowl which was very tasty. Coffee and matcha both very good too.

It is closed Wed/Thu so we were only able to come for brunch a couple of times during our stay in Marbella but if we had found them sooner we'd be regulars for sure. The menu was so good that it was hard to make a choice, we tried their omelette, bagel, pastry... all so good. Their coffees and teas were also great. We wish we had this place back home!

Close to the seafront yet nestled between boutiques, this is a lovely place to sit and watch the outside world go by or to take refuge within the upbeat interior and simply breathe. Without a doubt, this is the best vegan brunch available anywhere on the Costa del Sol. Having spent a decade in the Marbella area, most of it as a vegan, I can confidently say that this café, run by a friendly family, is warm, relaxing, and offers superb customer service. In my view, they have the best Oat FW I've had anywhere in Spain.
