Great starters and inoffensive curries that lacked flavour but were mostly fine. Very good price and reasonable portions. It was, however, the worst customer service me and my family have ever experienced. Incredibly unwelcoming (and borderline hostile) service from servers who, if anything, seemed irritated by the presence of guests in a half-empty restaurant and lacked basic communication skills and manners. Struggled to find a table for three despite many free, unreserved tables.

Limited options but good food - Edit
Food was very tasty, but unfortunately there seems to be a real limited amount of options. Even though you request some of the dishes to be made vegan, the staff didn't know why they are usually not which isn't reassuring.

The menu is very clearly labelled - about 1/3 of the veg based curries can be vegan upon request, and 1/3 of the dhals). We ordered the aloo baigan, dhal tadka, and a green veg dish (I forget the name!) with turmeric rice, green pea rice, and chapattis.
Read moreThe flavours were more subtle than I'm used to for Indian cuisine, but it was a lovely meal and the dhal was a definite highlight. The restaurant gets very busy so it's worth arriving early or booking. It's a beautiful spot to sit in with nice views across the river.

Super tasty food, big portions and great price! The menu is mostly well labelled to show what dishes *can be made vegan* except there are about 4 starters which are also vegan but not labelled so just ask the server - we got the vegetable pakora and they were great, came with 3 dips but 1 of which was not vegan.

Vegetarian dishes section is clearly marked with which dishes are/can be made vegan, and the staff are knowledgable about what on the menu is vegan. The food was delicious and very filling, and decently priced. For 48€, we had a starter to share, two mains, two rice, two roti, and four beers total.

Not too many vegan options, and they are not marked on the menu. However, the staff is helpful in making some of the dishes vegan. The dishes we had were very delicious.

Went to Namaste twice while staying in Ljubljana, the vegan options in their menu are clearly marked and the food is absolutely delicious! Staff is really friendly and the portions definitely enough to fill you up. Can highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Ljubljana, looking for delicious Indian food!😄

many vegan options, some marked on the menu, some are not marked but the staff is pretty helpful. we had two main dishes and one appetizer and it was a lot of food for two people. they also brought us only vegan chutney which was very nice of them. the restaurant has a large patio in front, inside is very colorful and chic.
