Incredible array of vegan options and Asian food - Edit
I love Nan-yea. There are two refrigerators full of vegan items, both Asian and Western, and it's a great spot to find ingredients to cook Asian food with. They also have an array of prepared foods, vegan and non-vegan, that are inexpensive and decent.

Delightful Market - Edit
I love this place, and I really like the staff - though I'm pretty sure they think I'm crazy. Tons of great, unexpected vegan products, lots of vegan ready-to-eat meals, plus most of my favorite asian products. Win win win.

Decent Fresh summer rolls - Edit
To start with the positive I would say the summer rolls are fresh. Taste good with the hot sauce we bought from them
Read moreAnother positive is they have a lot vegan options and labelled easy to see.
One last positive is the portions are big
For my personal preference I didn't like spicy tofu stir fry dish they had. The tofu for me had a jelly texture which I wasn't keen on at all and felt the food sat on my stomach for a while
I also bought bao bun - which the filling flavour was okay but the bun itself was too doughy not like I am used to when I have had bao buns where they can be light as air.
Last thing we got was aubergine corquettes - the texture again was too soft. The outter layer of them weren't crunchy so the filling and the outer layer was all mush together - which wasn't decent and hard to eat.

A LOT of veg choices for ready-made dishes and also products! - Edit
Only giving 4 stars because they still have meat products, but the quality of the food would definitely be worth a 5! Had the vegan Vietnamese summer rolls, the spring rolls and the baos, loved everything! (Vietnamese rolls are my favorite!)

Small shop with take away food options - Edit
They have many choices of freshly made Asian take away food, which is clearly marked vegan when it is. I usually go there to shop when in urgent need of tofu and co as they hold my favorite brand. They also have a choice of frozen mock meats and fresh fruit and veg. Staff is friendly.

The most amazing Asian food you will ever have - Edit
I honestly created my profile to write this review because I don’t think this place gets anywhere near enough recognition for how good it is.
Read moreI lived in Madrid and went here 3 or 4 times a week for 4 months and every single time I got the ‘Pad Thai Vegano’ which is honestly one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. I don’t live in Madrid anymore but I still think about this place haha IT’S JUST THAT GOOD
If you love Asian food, you will love this shop. Everything is around €3 per dish which is super cheap. It is technically an Asian food shop but it has a counter with premade food in boxes which you can ask to be heated up in the microwave by saying ‘....(food) para calentar’. Don’t expect a gourmet restaurant, just some cheap street food on the go which tastes amazing. Don’t overlook the shop from the outside, just buy the food. It’s a MUST when you visit Madrid!
Pros: So tasty , Cheap , Near the centre
Cons: None

All in the price - Edit
The food was mediocre at best. Only thing we liked was the mushroom seitán. But having this many vegan options at such low prices can be a life saver. I'll edit my score when I try new things.

Amazing variety - Edit
Not much variety gluten free here but the vegan things I brought home from here for friends and parties are lovely, and also the variety of products amazing, they also have very traditional Chinese things I can’t find anywhere else. People working here very friendly and always happy to help you, inform you and support you when you have doubts about what you are purchasing.

The best take away in Madrid - Edit
I've tried every single vegan dish they have and I would take them all again, cause they are all amazing. They offer a lot of vegan options and they also have a lot of vegan food to sell in the market plus health suplements and superfoods. The people attending the business are also super nice!

mostly good - Edit
I have had the pad thai, fried rice, yakisoba, croquettes and gyoza, all of which were good. the vietnamese rolls did not taste good. I sadly found a few pieces of chicken in my fried rice.. I went back and got it replaced with another box of fried rice, which thankfully was free of chicken

Great oriental take away with vegan and veggie options - Edit
We visited Madrid this week and stayed in the Tirso de Molina area. We arrived quite late on Monday night and needed food. My partner looked up vegan food/take aways on his phone (after finding that La Encomida was shut) and this Market/take-away popped up in Google maps, very close by. We went along and were pleasantly surprised by the range of stir fries, noodles & spring rolls available for vegans, there were also gluten free options (my partner can't eat gluten).
Read moreAfter asking about the different options, we selected some rice rolls, a stir fry and the green salad (more saucy than salad). We took it back to our apartment and warmed up the food in the microwave. It was sooo good! Possibly the best Chinese/Vietnamese food I've ever had! I can't recommend this place enough! I think they would probably warm it up for you too if need be.
NB I don't think the person who served us spoke English, so maybe brush up on your Spanish first or take your phone with Google translate at the ready!
Pros: delicious oriental food, open really late, inexpensive
Cons: you may have to heat up the food yourself, no English spoken, you will need access to somewhere to eat this food

Wide range of vegan dishes - Edit
This place is one of the top discoveries of the year. They have a surprisingly wide range of vegan ready-made dishes from Asian cuisines (Thai, Chinese/Cantonese, Japanese) and even some vegan versions of traditional Spanish dishes. To name a few: seitan curry, veggie gyozas, veggie baozi, tofu meatballs, stir-fry noodles with tofu, summer rolls, sautéed seitan with traditional spanish veggies, etc. etc. They have plates with meat and fish as well, but all vegan and vegetarian specialities are clearly labeled. Anyway in case of doubt the helpful staff will help you. And not to forget it's really inexpensive, you can get 3 plates for 10,00€ or less. On the bad side, the plastic containers have absolutely no information of any kind: there's no nutritional information, no list of ingredients, no expiry-date.
Read morePros: wide range, inexpensive, helpful staff
Cons: no info on the containers whatsoever
