Natural Corner - Edit
A few years ago I had an eight-hour layover in Brussels, so I took the train to the city center and took the opportunity to eat at a vegan restaurant (Moon Foods, now sadly closed) and to pick up snacks for my 10 hour flight home to the US. Natural Corner was an excellent find for me. It was super easy to walk to from the local downtown attractions and the store had lots of vegan snacks and staples from which one can choose. If I were staying in Brussels longer I would have purchased quite a few things here. Excellent option overall.

Has most of the things I'm looking for - Edit
I like that there's a bulk food section. Nice for when you're budget traveling and trying to also be less waste and have access to a kitchen to cook in a hostel or something. Prices seemed ok

A lot of options - Edit
This is a nice store with a lot of vegan options. They have a nice selection of vegan things like sausages, cheese and even ice cream. They also have organic fruits and vegetables.
Read moreGiven the fact that there're not many vegan things at the supermarkets, it's nice to have a store like this nearby.
Pros: many options, friendly staff, fresh food

good place to grab basics - Edit
This was a nice shop to grab what we needed. Good if you're traveling with a kiddo who needs food or looking to stock up on supplies. Our hotel didn't have a place to cook or we would have certainly tried out more items!

Vegan Staff - Edit
They have a lot of vegan stuff and excellent brands (like wilmerburger chease or mushroom flavoured seitan by Maya - a small belgian company, or the "veganaise with a star on the label" Belgians and Dutch are super found of);
Read moreit's also the only place where I know I'll find Trumpets of the death.
Finally, I know that several employees are vegan, which makes the place feel quite valuable.
Pros: products that are sometimes hard to find, nice location in the city center

Great organic shop in the center of Brussels - Edit
This shop offers the usual organic range, including fresh vegetables, a range of bulk products, and a good selection of vegan substitutes.
Read moreIt's easy to reach from the central station, and the staff is very friendly. Some of them are vegans and can offer useful advice; including one nutritionist who works there part-time since may 2016.
They usually offer a 5% discount on your total.

Convenient place to stock up - Edit
I thought this was a great place to stock up on breakfast supplies - it had lots of different kinds of muesli and granola, as well as a great selection of vegan yoghurts. There are also plenty of snack bars, biscuits and general groceries as well. A great find in the city centre.

broad selection, clean shop, helpful staff - Edit
The shop is not that big, but is very close to the central station and sells a bunch of different kind of things, mostly non-fresh (dried pastas, beans, nuts, ...). The staff is very helpful (even in Dutch if you're persistent) and I like it there.
Read moreIt's not very cheap though.
Pros: location, staff, stock
Cons: price

Much needed central source of vegan food - Edit
Given lack of truly vegan-friendly eateries in the centre of Brussels, this place is a life-saver. Has everything you'd expect to find in a UK health food shop, more or less - except for the fact that so many fewer people on the continent seem to be dairy-free for ethical reasons, I didn't see any soya milk fortified in B12 or D vitamins (same problem in France).
Read moreThe guy working in the shop today turned out to be vegan too, and when I asked about local tips couldn't provide anything not already on HappyCow (pat yourselves on the back, HappyCow!), beyond the omnipresent Exki, which are useful if you're desperate and don't mind eating a salad out of a plastic pot.
Pros: All you'd expect to find, Super-friendly service, Easy to get to
Cons: No obvious on-the-go savoury foods

Fair Range of products - Edit
The shop isn't massive but makes a very good use of it's space to offer a suprisingly large variety for the space it's in. The price range is moderate, and atmosphere is relaxed. We were pleased to find some cheap whole earth drinks and clear spring oat cakes, useful for us as we're backpacking!

Nice selection - Edit
We stumbled upon this store while finding our way back to the hotel. It was just a short walk from the central station, which was right around where we were staying, so location couldn't be better for us. They pretty much have whatever you need to be self-sufficient in this not so vegan-friendly city. We actually got our breakfast supplies from here - fruits, soygurt, and some cereal from the bulk section, not that far from breakfast at home really!
