Beautiful space, decent food!

Based just on what we had this one visit, I would not suggest that this is a place to go out of your way to try. But if you’re in Anacortes around mealtime, this place will do the job! They had a small section at the back of the menu labeled “vegan specials” with two items listed (a veggie and tofu soup of sorts and a tofu satay). Otherwise, nothing is even listed as vegetarian. We got the fresh rolls with peanut sauce, which were actually quite good. The tofu satay was lacking and the pad see ew was inedible to me but good to my husband. They didn’t hesitate when we ordered the pad see ew without fish sauce, which suggests that they can easily remove it, but honestly, it still tasted fishy to me!

Put chicken in our soup.

Ordered a vegan Tom Kha with tofu and found chicken Tom Kha after driving an hour home. After sending the requested pictures to prove what we received they acknowledged giving us another customer's order. They refused to refund us for the food we can't eat. Will not order here again.

Excellent food and staff

Great ambiance, extensive menu and the staff can easily veganize most things since they do not add fish sauce ahead of time. We ordered hot herbal tea, stir fried eggplant with tofu and vegetables, and the masaman curry with tofu and vegetables. BTW the bathroom was super clean! The restaurant was pretty full but the service was quick and the servers checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed.

Pros: So many vegan options , Excellent service , Low prices

Cons: Nothing is already labeled as vegan
