Poor Service, Amazing Food - Edit
I’ve been coming here for a year now because the food is so good! It’s REALLY frustrating though because the service is always terrible or simply just not present. If the food was not so good, I would not continue to come.
Read moreFood: LOVE the nachos, flautas, avocado tacos, amazeballs
Service: Inattentive and transactional. I think it’s cuz they are so busy, they don’t have to be nice, it’s just transactional, in and out, turn the tables.
Pros: Delicious food!
Cons: Long wait EVERY time 45min-1hr15, Poor service

Consistently a Great Experience! - Edit
I've been to No Bones about a dozen times and it's remained one of my favorite vegan spots in Seattle, and a fun place to bring my non-vegan friends who are surprised by how much they enjoyed it!
Read moreMenu: offers a solid variety from hearty salads to bomb sandwiches to sushi. My favorites are the Lettuce Wraps (also a fave for my non-vegan pals), the BahnDOTcom sando and the Nachos (add the jackfruit carnitas!) Honestly most things I've had are awesome. I was a tad disappointed in the fried avo tacos although it could've been just a bad day for that. Avo was over-fried and the batter was very heavy so I havent tried it again.
Great local beer selection, and awesome festive cocktails including some seasonals. I typically get kombucha (rotating flavors) or french press and it's also great.
Ambiance: A sunny surf-town oasis in the midst of the clouds and rain! Decorated with colorful surf boards, pineapples, an colorful lights. Even the bathrooms are decked out-be sure to peek inside both!
Charity: they donte to a different animal charity every month, and in the back hallway toward the bathroom they even have a wall of fame to share a photo of your rescue pet!
Advice:
Keep your party size fairly small (4ppl or less) for best accommodation. The place is small and at prime dinner/brunch times there can be a wait! Get there early just in case to get your name on the list.
Menu is delicious but not necessarily "healthy" vegan food. Lots of fried comfort eats. Curb this by getting a 1/2 salad (still huge!) or whole, with sauces on the side, or go for the Beet Poke and a cup of soup.
Be sure to stop in just for dessert once!
Pros: Fully vegan menu, some gluten-free and soy-free
Cons: Very small and getting popular. Get there early!

Great atmosphere; kind of a loud bar-type setting. The food is good and they serve drinks! They’ve got outdoor seating during the fair seasons which is nice if you’ve got dogs.

Theyre yummy! - Edit
Their food is delicious! They have a good number of imitation items (faux meats textured to be more like the animal product equivalent), as well as a good number of non-imitation items. The location is fairly small though, so i wouldnt bring a group of more than 6 people max.

No Bones, No Complaints! - Edit
I’m from out of state & make it a point to stop in every time I am in the area. Their brunch menu is top notch & I can honestly say I have never been disappointed in my meal or service. I always have to get an order of cauliflower wings (no matter what time of day). Bartenders are fab & the drinks also tasty. Try the margarita! I bring my non-vegan dad and sister in all the time and they love it.

Very Good Food - Edit
Between the two of us we split a Tofu Mhi sandwich, an order of guacamole with chips, a Beet Poke and a chowder (that came with the sandwich). They were always amazing, especially the poke, that had all the right spices to make it outstanding. Our server Carlos was friendly and knowledgeable. We’ll be back!

Really yummy food and super cute decor! I got the avocado tacos and also tried the buffalo cauliflower and sesame ginger cauliflower that my family ordered. All of it was really flavorful and good! 10/10 would go again.

10/10 every time - Edit
I love No Bones! I would say I’ve tried more than half the things on the menu (and brunch menu) and it’s always perfect. Sometimes you have to do a drive by first cause it’s a small space so it gets crowded fast but luckily I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes. I would recommend the huge plate of nachos but do yourself a favor and add jackfruit.. My bf loves the battered avocado tacos. Brunch is good too but it’s only available on weekends. There’s also some pretty good cocktails and I usually get great service, I don’t know where you can go wrong.

vibe is great serving sizes huge - Edit
The decor is super tiki island vibe with surf boards and grass roofs. This is a great place to take out of town friends (like me) or friends who also want a good drink with their vegan food. I’m high raw personally, so a great side of guacamole and the salads are fantastic. But they have a mountain of nachos that looked really good. My girls friends got cauliflower wings and we all had great drinks. Rum is the specialty here but they have great tequila too and the bar staff knows what they are doing so you can get a creative request fresh.

By far best - Edit
After going vegan for a while I decided to venture out and eat at restaurants. This is by far the best I've been to so far out of 6 different places. The energy the music the decorations of course the food and the staff were great! Such a fun energetic place with food that is packed with flavor I love this place I will for sure be back. It's all ages, so they do have high chairs. They do have some very fancy drinks that are good and strong worth the $10 price tag. Happy hour is between 4-6 Tuesday to I think Thursday. Dollar off beers wines and wells and $7 margaritas and a food menu with prices around $6 bucks. Great place my 9 month old loved the music and food.

Deep Fried - Edit
While the food tastes pleasant, everything is deep fried and much Is heavily processed here. I’m sure some like this but it is not why I went vegan.

Don’t Get the Crab Cakes - Edit
Came here with my boyfriend on our visit from out of town. We started with the buffalo cauliflower wings and got talked into doing half buffalo half sesame ginger by our waitress. Not a good move- the sesame ginger were wayyyy sweet and I wasn’t a fan. Stick with buffalo, unless you really like super sweet things!
Read moreFor entrees, my boyfriend got their Bahn Dot Com and I for the Crab Cake Sando but made as a salad. My boyfriend really enjoyed his sandwich and would recommend that, I on the other hand didn’t enjoy my crab cakes at all. They had a weird taste, sort of sweetish, but nothing crabby tasting. And they were super fried. It was a bummer, I ended up not finishing my meal.
Next time I would get something else! It was a good spot, just don’t get the crab. :)

Wowzers! - Edit
I’ve eaten at No Bones three times now, and the quality has always been consistent. The two times for lunch, a table was easily acquired, however last night for dinner, the place was hopping and we had a half hour wait. We ordered the Nacho plate and cauliflower buffalo wings as a starter to share for our table of 4 and both were super yummy and can definitely be recommended. For my main I had the “crab cake” sando which was excellent....Boy I wish I could get the recipe for that one. My husband had the North Shore Skydive, an Asian/southwestern inspired tofu sandwich, which he really liked, and the other two in our party had the Jackfruit Flautas and the Rip Tide salad, all of which were devoured. The food here is decadent, comforting, and delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. I’m looking forward to trying their brunch menu next!

Fantastic - All vegan! - Edit
Creative delicious menu. The cauliflower wings are amazing. Avocado tacos fantastic. All the sandwiches are super yummy. Pretty much everything on the menu I would recommend. Cute tiki bar style restaurant, with nice decor, even some cocktails come in a Hawaiian style glassware. For some good times try their 'shark shots' & for a few extra bucks you can keep the cute little sharks as a souvenir! Tip: Lots of items are deep-fried & kind of greasy, so just heads up if you are low fat or avoiding oil. All of your meat eater friends and family will love this restaurant- it's not just for vegans! DJ spinning records at brunch. ( The only thing I don't like is their motto/tagline that says "just because it's vegan doesn't mean it sucks". I think that just kind of perpetuates the idea that vegan food sucks. The sentence/words turns me off. I wish they change it to something more positive.) *Edited to add: last time I was in, December 2017, the food wasn’t as good as it used to be!! What’s going on??
