The place is nice; a sort of foodmarket with other restaurants, but the food tasted bad. I’ve had the vegan burrito bowl. It was really blend, there were no mexican spices. It had a weird taste. It was just a bowl of rice with a lot of union and a bit lettuce.

Read moreI ordered the large vegan burrito noting it had a vegan tax, then when it arrived, it had nothing in the burrito to justify the extra cost! (No more expensive vegan cheese or meat alternative) which has just left me feeling scammed.
Plain rice, salad and black beans mostly bland with maybe a little guacamole but that might have been my imagination…
It would have been okay were it not so expensive and the extra cost of the vegan option was totally unjustified.

Stumbled upon this restaurant in a food hall. Only two staff were working but they were so kind. Vegan options clearly labelled. I got the vegan burrito bowl. It was really delicious and healthy!

If you’re just visiting Kyoto for a short time and need a burrito fix, go to Que Pasa instead. Que Pasa is the premium burrito experience in the city, and has non-discriminating vegan options.

Pros: Tasty overall, Burritos are much larger than advertised
Cons: Vegan options are more expensive. Why?, The chip set came with only like 12 chips.

Multiple portion sizes in burritos. Had the large one which didn't dissapoint. Very tasty and super filling. Would recommend!

We were very happy to find this place in the evening when no other vegan food was available in Kyoto. We had two vegan burritos - they were tasty. The place is in the basement of a shopping mall.

They must not have used any spices to season the beans. Luckily they have a variety of hot sauces at each table. Filling and vegan! Not bad!

Good vegan options! The burrito was Tex mex but it was close by so I didn’t mind - Edit
I loved how conveniently located it was from where I was staying. I hope they get vegan cheese meat substitutes. Also vegan mexican rice would be amazing (not sure if there’s is vegan or not). The burrito came with white rice.
