Lots of options - Edit
Out of all the delicious dishes they offer I ordered a ricecake fishcakesoup which I did not enjoy that much. Sadly I wanted to try something new. Portion was enormous and too much for one person. But the lady serving ist really welcoming and nice, to foreigners she might come off harsh when she speaks Korean (doesnt speak English), but she's only saying the nicest things. There were only tourists eating there.

No more taking off shoes and sitting on the floor. They’ve renovated and now you get tables and can order of tablets! Food is always great. You’re supporting a great cause, because they also provide food to the homeless once a week. They’re closed every Thursday I believe.
Read moreThe only con we have is that the bathroom could be updated. It’s not a big deal to us, but we do have a very sensitive child who has a hard time with different bathrooms. Still worth going however!
Pros: Helps homeless, Great food
Cons: Bathroom is iffy

The best and reliable vegan place in Korea, imo - Edit
This is still the best vegan place in Seoul/Korea for many years while many places popped up and disappeared or you'd not be sure if they're open. It is the only place you can find veganized versions of many traditionally Korean food. You wouldn't have to be worried once in there. The choice is great. Side dish ample. Take away shelves with secial vegan items to use at home.

Great dumplings - Edit
The dumplings were excellent, everything else was okay. The atmosphere was a little weird since peace TV (Christian) was blasting right next to our table.

Good food - Edit
I’ve been wanting to go here since last year! Everything is labeled in details (and english as well). Food is nice, but I think the portion for the fried chicken was a bit small. There are actually a lot of people eating here, so you might wait a bit before you can eat. The restaurant is literally in Insadong.

Okay meal. - Edit
Overall, meal wasn't bad but not spectacular either. Okay for a quick lunch if you just want something casual, but nowhere near the best vegan food in Seoul

Traditional Korean Food - Edit
Pretty large menu with veganized Korean food. Banchan! The cult propaganda running on the TV was off-putting, however.

Homely vegan food in Insa-dong - Edit
Nice homely food near the temple, the place has a slightly cult-like vibe to it but not overbearing. The food was wholesome and nutritious, and will definitely consider stopping by again if I'm in the area.

Overhyped - Edit
I was really excited to visit this place but wasn't what I was expecting. There was no music and the atmosphere didn't feel very inviting. I was served the wrong dishes which was fixed a couple of minutes after, but the food had started to get cold by then. Unfortunately I also had to hear the arguing in the kitchen about the mixed up order which was uncomfortable. The ttekbokki was nice and spicy though, and the tea was also tasty.

Great food but bad service and weird atmosphere… - Edit
The food was amazing ! We went there twice and had a bit of everything : vegetables dumplings, fake bulgogi, vegan jajangmyeon noodles and fake fried chicken. However, a particularly angry ajumma made our experience there quite unpleasant both times. They were also three big TV promoting “the supreme master” which felt a bit funny and weird.

Nice homey meal - Edit
The 3 ladies who worked there was very nice and cute, the meal servings was big, especially for the noodles. It's was just right for the rice meals. This restaurant is all vegan and they have this sign about with or without FPH which means with or without onions, garlic, green onions and chives.

Great Korean Food, but culty atmosphere - Edit
EDIT: They changed the restaurant layout. Now they have 3 huge TVs playing the Supreme Master TV report. It seems super propaganda-ish, and I'm afraid to take non vegan friends there now because they'll think I'm a member of a cult. One TV and the huge picture of the "Supreme Master" was enough since it was less obvious that the restaurant is owned by a cult. Now it is super obvious. Also, the TV station was playing images from a factory farm. Who wants to eat food while watching that? Even if the food is vegan, it's still disturbing. I like that there are tables since sitting on the floor can be hard for some. However, I wish there was a mix of floor seating in one half and tables in the other half since sitting on the floor is a fun experience. I also like how you can now order from a tablet located on your table. Rather than playing the propaganda channel everywhere on huge TVs, it would be better for people to have the options to play it on the tablet at their table.

Pros: Many side dishes, Beautiful Hanok
Cons: Supreme Master TV station playing everywhere, jajangmyeon doesn't come with all the side dishes, Seems like a cult spewing propaganda
Thekoreanvegan
This is true. Jjajangmyun is only served in Chinese-Korean restaurants and typically comes only with a little kimchi and pickled radish.

This place has a huge menu, and they are mostly korean traditional dishes. Also some veganized street food dishes that are not usually vegan. I bring my friends there when they visit seoul. And their food is good most of the times.

Amazing Korean food - Edit
The food is typical Korean food veganised and it all tastes amazing, especially the stew! I liked that you took off your shoes and sat on the floor as well but when I was there recently they switched it to chairs, don't know if this is temporary or permanent.. you order on a screen now, the service is not always the friendliest but quick and you get side dishes.

A must-go in Seoul - Edit
Not sure if this place is related to Loving Hut as they are playing Supreme Master video there. This is a must-go place if you want to have some traditional Korean food. Their menu veganised many famous Korean dishes! I had Jajjang noodles and fried mock chicken. The chicken was a bit dry and I would recommend trying the one with sauce. But still, they were tasty.

Delicious but weird cult vibe - Edit
A vegan restaurant that offers lovely delicious meals with weird cult vibes on the side.
Read moreBetween the two of us, we ordered the vegan sweet and sour pork, the fried vegan vegetable dumplings, the mushroom soup with Udon, and a vegan fried egg.
Everything was delicious. The egg didn't taste like egg, but did have a similar texture.
At the front of the restaurant they have a small grocery section where you can buy pot noodles, vegan jerky, oat milk etc.
They seem to support a "supreme master" which looks very culty. They have a video stream on the televisions showing it. They don't push it on you, but it is weird not going to lie. If you're not okay with that kind of environment I would suggest avoiding this place (food is definitely worth the weirdness though!)
Pros: Large vegan menu
Cons: Weird cult vibe
