Oishi Pan Bakery, Singapore

The helpful lady serving says the green dot labelled items are vegetarian. She is under the impression 'vegan' is a term related to being gluten-free. She says their vegetarian items contain no milk nor egg, and that they don't add honey to anything.

I tried the muesli bread which I found enjoyable.

Pros: Proactive product labelling, Nice lady serving

Cons: All vegan is always better, Sub-optimal staff 'vegan' knowledge

Pleasant experience

I came to try it out after seeing it on happycow app. I'd have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that there were quite a number of vegan options to choose from.

I took the herb focaccia and it was really good! I also got long black coffee; and cos I brought my own (Starbucks) coffee mug, the waitress told me that it'll be just about less than 1/3 of my coffee mug. So I asked for 2 portions. She charged me $2.00 for it instead of $3 (it's ordinarily $1.50 per cup). That was really nice of her.

Good experience for me and I'll make a point to go back while still in Singapore.

Pros: Good selection of vegan options. Friendly staff.

Yummy, QQ bakes

Good range of vegetarian/vegan bakes labelled with a green sticker, though some may be incorrectly labelled (some vegetarian/vegan bakes didn’t have the sticker). Ask the friendly staff to clarify! :) Bought the beetroot loaf to try, and it turned out to be just the right level of sweetness chewiness :)

Pros: Good range of vegan options, Yummy bread, Reasonable prices
