Was very satisfied with my choice of spring rolls, the aubergine and banana blossom dishes. Very friendly staff and reasonably priced. 💚

Got some vegan Thai tapas - Edit
I loved their Donald Duck with tofu! The nuggets were okay but I was disappointed that they didn’t have vegan aioli sauce, that ruined it for me. I liked their whole concept of Thai tapas!

Great thai food! - Edit
I love the food i received from this place each time. Each time I'm thinking that it can't be as good as I think it is, but it really is. If you haven't tried this place, it should be on your list. Great thai food!

Popular place! - Edit
Have been trying to get a table here for ages, but every time I check they seem to be fully booked for a week or so onwards. But finally I got a table! And was happy I did. I wasn’t too sure on what dishes could be made vegan, so was happy to find out all except one of the veggie options either was or could be fully vegan!

All things considered, a sound option - Edit
I learned about Pat's Place in early 2020, when I saw they had received the award from the Swedish broadsheet paper DN for the best budget restaurant. And while it may not be dirt-cheap, I have to say it never disappoints. By now I must have dined there 3 times, and had lunch at least as many. On my last visit, me and my friend ordered four tapas, which together with complimentary rice made us reasonably full at a fair price. We dug The Fifth Element (spring rolls) and Purple Rain (aubergine), despite the latter inexplicably being served lukewarm at best. Star Wars was a hit, probably our favourite, while Donald Duck felt bland, like a dish we could do without in the future.
Read morePat's Place offers reliable food in a cozy environment, especially if you don't mind having other customers rather close to you (covid throwback, haha)
On the minus side, vegan dishes by default are very few, as most dishes marked with a "v" denote vegetarian being an option, but they usually contain animal additives (fish sauce, prawn paste) or could just as well be served with halloumi, chicken, duck. Also, one of our waiters would ask "with tofu?" as we were ordering, despite us already having said everything was to be vegan. A bit more focus on our priorities would be appreciated, especially since they are already a mixed, socially aware team, which the poster at the entrance indicates.

Unimpressed - Edit
I was keen to try this place after having read rave reviews about it. On this particular day I had two dishes as take-out: The Fifth Element and Donald Duck. The spring rolls tasted nice however I found the tofu dish way too spicy for me. It took away the flavours of both dishes, perhaps I'm overly sensitive. I would have appreciated if they had stated the level of spiciness of the dishes on their website, perhaps the menu in the restaurant is different. Pat's always appears fully-booked so they must be doing something right, however it left me feeling disappointed this time.
