The food was good, but they didn't have anything that I wanted. I asked first for a pasta, and they were out so I had the gnochis instead. They were good, but the flavor was a bit strong and overwhelming for 1 dish. We also had the BBQ "chicken" pizza, which was good but a bit too dry. For dessert, I tried to order an ice cream, but they were out too. So I had a volcán, which was tasty (it's chocolate and banana, yummy) but it was just too sweet (and I have a super sweet tooth!), and I couldn't finish it. Overall good, the staff was kind. I might give it another shot.

Read morePedimos los arrancinis de entrada pero se desarmaban mucho y en el centro tenían algo congelado que no se derritió con la fritura. El pan que lo acompañaba si estaba increíble.
Pedimos la lasaña de plátano que esperaba más, y el risoto de hongos que si estaba delicioso

La propuesta de Pianta es la comida italiana vegana. Tienen buenos platos, aunque costosos para algunas de las porciones (que sin duda han mejorado). El emplatado, en general, me parece lindísimo y personalmente considero que es un factor que te conecta al plato. El lugar es bonito aunque le falta ambientación (quizás más decoración en las paredes y esquinas, sin que por ello deje de ser un lugar sobrio, como creo que intentan que sea). También vendría bien un poco de música a un volumen que sea disfrutable al tiempo que le permita a la gente conversar.
Read moreEsta vez probé el no-salmon, que me pareció muy rico pero bastante costoso, y la lasaña de plátano que nunca me ha defraudado. El volcán de chocolate me pareció demasiado dulce y no lo pude terminar.
A mejorar: el servicio a la mesa. En la mayoría de visitas ha parecido como si el personal no quisiera que estuvieras allí. Este es un elemento transversal para la experiencia.

Great tasting Mushroom risotto - Edit
I had the mushroom risotto. It was creamy and the mushrooms were rich in flavour. Of course a little on the pricey side which I already knew, however the ingredients are fresh and the food is made to a high standard. I will be back to try some more things on the menu.

Really nice to have an upscale all-vegan restaurant in a city that’s seriously lacking in options for vegans. I had the arancini and the mushroom pappardelle. The arancini was still frozen in the middle and quite heavy (deep fried), and the pappardelle tasted (and looked) like they poured melted butter over the top of it. It was way too incredibly rich and buttery for my taste. But, bonus points on that the pasta seemed homemade and was really nice. It’s too bad I couldn’t eat much of it because the butter sauce was making me nauseas.

The bread was great, arancini was average and I didn't like the carbonara at all. To be fair to the waitrose, she personally did not recommend the carbonara but I went against her advice! It was simultaneously too rich whilst being very bland... Despite only having 3 tables of customers, the service was slow. Would return to try the pizza as the dough of the bread served with the arancini was delicious.

Spacious place. Pleasant lighting. The place felt a bit like "fine-dining" compared to other vegan restaurants I've visited in Bogota. I guess the price difference on food and drinks is the reason for this.

La pizza era ok, pero el queso no fundido, la pizza era fría y demasiado ensalada encima.
Pedí también el plato de queso con proteína y pan.
La "carne" era seca y faltó de sabor. Pero las tomates confites eran buenas.
El queso es increíble, me encantó, y el pan, que es realmente una masa de pizza. Era muy bueno, aún que no estaba bien cocinado por dentro.

La oferta es buena y hay bastantes opciones y otra vez el queso artesanal 😍👌🏼

The space needs a redesign. I found it cold and not very welcoming. The staff were friendly. It's not cheap, but they have a nice menu.

The pizza was great - good dough and flavour. In my opinion, the carbonara was too creamy, but my partner quite liked it.
For dessert, we got a hot cookie and tiramisu, which we struggled to finish. Flavour-wise, the tiramisu was a bit bland.
Overall, I would rate it 4.5.

I tried the mushroom pizza and the plantain lasagna, both great, good portions and lot of flavor. I also tried the brunch and there are so many options and all of them delicious, it is a great place, ambiance, attention is good and it is in a good location.

The best meal I’ve had in Bogota - Edit
I may come and update this later, but after eating at 4 other places, this is by far the best place I’ve eaten. TBH, when traveling to different countries, I’d much rather eat vegan versions of local food. This doesn’t appear to be much of an option here. So, last night was Italian food in Bogota and it was exceptional. I got the penne pomodoro and the pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was well done. I also got the arancini and the pizza frita. Both were exceptional. #Veganuary
