Farm to table with all options

They have a vegan main dish every night. Last night was a lions mane "steak" with smoked cabbage and vegan jus! They also had a section of vegan starters. So tasty. On the pricey side but very worth it. No Vegan dessert options, but we were too full to even consider dessert.

Pros: Fresh local ingredients , Fine dining level of cooking

Cons: Only one vegan option , No Vegan desserts

Best gourmet vegan meal I’ve had in Wilmington

I ate there pre-pandemic, so my memory is fuzzy on the details, except for the delicious bean hummus… it made me want to come back.

Pros: Excellent quality & attention to detail

Cons: Limited close parking

Delicious and fun

Not strictly speaking vegan options, but request no butter and it shall be done. The pickled veggies were surprisingly divine and I highly recommend. The veggi main course option, a pesto-quinoa-broccoli and many more besides was a feast for the senses.

Pros: Delicious food

Cons: Vegan only upon request

Absolutely world class vegan meal!

Pinpoint restaurant is located in downtown Wilmington, NC in a beautiful restaurant with the original exposed brick. Don’t bother with the published menu! We were told to call in advance (which is necessary for anyone) and explain that we are vegan, and that we’d be taken care of. And THAT WE WERE! From the soft, warm olive oil bread, to the out of this world roasted butternut squash salad the meal started out fabulously. Then... omg!! We were blown away. After being vegan nearly 11 years it takes a lot to surprise and delight us. This chef did! We had the most glorious concoction of a molè I could imagine. It was so creamy and slightly spicy. I could not even finish mine. Needless to say, we will be back!

Pros: Great, unique vegan food, Thoughtful staff , Beautiful location

Cons: Menu is limited

Fabulous Farm to Table style

This deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ without a doubt! It was the BEST meal I had eaten out at a restaurant in a very very long time! It was kinda like an upscale farm to table with fresh local food! Definitely wowing in every way when it came to taste! The waiter was super helpful and assured me the kitchen would accommodate! Got the fabulous hummus for an appetizer that they served with red bell pepper strips and kohlrabi. Then I got this vegetable plate for dinner that they made Vegan...it had Ratatouille, pickled watermelon, and a few other samplings of flavor but filling! For dessert, my mother got the Peanut Butter Cacao Nib ice cream (Vegan friendly) and I got the most delicious Beet and Basil Sorbet. I mean, Holy WOW!! Sooo good! I can’t wait to go back!!! I highly recommend making a reservation or you may never get a table, and don’t go if you are in a rush. This is an experience of food...and you will be there for a while! Totally my type of place!

Pros: Most delicious food, Great service, Accommodating

Cons: Expensive , Crowded

Surprisingly good

When my wife and I were in Wilmington and were invited to dinner here by a friend of a friend, we didn’t know what to expect. Well, it’s a gourmet farm to table restaurant that is enthusiastic about accommodating vegans. That would be enough, but the service was great and the space was nice. The use and variety of herbs was outstanding. And the coconut-based homemade ice cream was spectacular. I can’t wait to go back.
