Best gluten-free vegan pizza - Edit
Georgia Peach and Hawaiian pizza were both great. They let me order half and half, even for gluten-free! Crust was tender, not gritty as GF can be sometimes. Vegan cheese and all the veggie toppings were great. Oatmeal cream pie cookie sandwich was also GF and phenomenal. Honestly some of the best food in Atlanta.
Read moreOutrageously friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great location, near but not inside Ponce market. Very reasonable prices.
Pros: Perfectly melty vegan cheese, Gluten-free (and regular) crust options, Vegan cookies
Cons: Takeout ONLY - no seating area

Take out only! - Edit
The lobby space is incredibly tiny and was so crowded when we stopped in. But overall it was worth it. The food was delicious and the staff were nice. Just slightly on the expensive side. And it sure would be nice to eat the pie fresh from the oven instead of after a 20 minute car ride home. But always grateful for yummy vegan pizza!

Really good pizza! - Edit
I've had their Georgia Peach pizza a few times, and it is so delicious! They cook the vegan sausage perfectly, as well as using juicy and sweet peaches (which oddly works very well). Their pizza sauce is delicious too. I also love their cheese bread, and the mixture of cheeses was amazing. If you get it be sure to order extra marinara sauce because like I said earlier, it's really good and goes well with the cheese bread. Back to the pizza, the crust was beautifully seasoned. And the pepperoni pizza had a great flavor profile, which I find is rare in a vegan pepperoni. I also have had their pepperoni calzone before, and the cheese used it mimicked the texture of dairy shockingly well from what I remember. Overall, this is my favorite pizza place so far. I highly recommend it.

Plant Based Pizzeria: Atlanta's Vegan Pizza Paradise - Edit
Nestled in the heart of Atlanta, Plant Based Pizzeria isn't just a restaurant - it's a vegan pizza lover's dream come true. With a perfect 100/10 star rating (yes, you read that right!), this place redefines what plant-based pizza can be.
Read moreMenu Highlights:
Vegan Pepperoni Pizza: The star of the show! A must-try that'll make you question why all pepperoni isn't plant-based.
Bread: Simple yet spectacular. Don't overlook this menu item!
Calzones: A pocket of plant-based perfection.
Breadsticks: The perfect sidekick to any pizza order.
Desserts & Milkshakes: Because who says vegan can't be indulgent?
Flavor Factor: The flavors here are nothing short of extraordinary. Each bite is a testament to the chef's commitment to proving that vegan pizza can be just as delicious (if not more so) than its traditional counterparts.
Value: Let's be real - it's on the pricier side. But here's the thing: it's 100% worth it. The quality, taste, and overall experience justify every penny spent.
Consistency: This isn't just a one-hit wonder. The reviewer makes it a point to visit every time they're in Atlanta, which speaks volumes about the restaurant's consistency and appeal.
Bottom Line: Plant Based Pizzeria in Atlanta isn't just changing the game - it's creating a whole new one. Whether you're a committed vegan, a curious omnivore, or just someone who appreciates phenomenal food, this pizzeria is a must-visit destination. Yes, it's an investment, but it's one that pays delicious dividends. Next time you're in Atlanta, do yourself a favor and experience the pizza that's breaking the rating scale!
Pros: Open late, Extensive menu options , Desserts

Nope - Edit
I ate here once before the COVID pandemic and the food was/heard still is basically burned pizza crust. The owner is rude, disrespectful, and doesn’t care what anyone thinks. I wish this business didn’t receive such glowing reviews. Please read negatives for interactions with him.
Read morePeople have a short memory, don’t know, or don’t care so putting it back at the top: at the start of COVID shutdown, owner bought a ton of N-95 masks and sold them for over $50 each while hospital staff were washing theirs due to a shortage then had the audacity to launch personal attacks against a hospital nurse about this. If that doesn’t matter to you and you like terrible pizza then go here. If you’d rather go to an actual pizza restaurant with great customer service, great food, and partially owned by 2 Chainz then go to Pizza Verdura right up the street, it is also all vegan.

Ate at the food truck at Veg Fest. The owners were super kind and thoughtful! I’m from out of town so I had to get the Georgia Peach since I’m in Georgia. I also love pizza with jalapeños and adding the peaches was such a nice contrast! I enjoyed it for its novelty, but I normally prefer a thicker pizza and the cheese was just ok.

AMAZING! - Edit
Mannnn, had a long day of ripping and running. Finally got to the point of making the space to get some food in my system. Im in the process of transitioning vegan, more so vegetarian at the moment but because of that i have to do a bit more to find places that i can eat at.
Read moreGoogled the nearest chipotle because thats usually my go to spot when i want some quick vegan friendly food when im not in a space to invest time into finding a new spot because then comes the risk of trying a new spot and the food not hitting like you would like it to and now you're left dealing with that food disappointment. Pulled up to chipotle, "closed for remodeling." Back at square one. Opened an app i use called "happy cow" that helps me find vegan/vegetarian places to eat at.
Saw plant based pizzeria on the list. Said to myself, "why not, i like pizza." And mannnn oh mannnn. It was very much worth the chance. I got the garlic butter oyster mushroom 1/2 pizza added some spinach, bell peppers, and walnut meat. And a peanut butter cookie because i love those! Best pizza I've had in a long time! I sat in the parking lot and smashed the whole thing and the cookie for dessert. Whoever they have in the kitchen deserves great things in life. 1000/10, would definitely recommend. My favorite part of eating pizza is the crust and their spelt crust is *chefs kiss*. And the cookie?!!??! Beautifully baked! Soft, chewy, flavorful.
All of this to say if you're reading this extremely expressive review, and your contemplating giving it a try or not. DO IT! They gained a customer when i tried it today. And if you bring yourself to try it im sure they'll gain a customer in your as well.
Peace!
Pros: Great customer service, Great food, Even better cookies

This place is so good. I was worried about the crust, but it was fine. The ranch dressing is good, too. Wish I had time to try the pepperoni, but I’m leaving town, so someone please teleport one to me. Thanks in advance.

So many options, crust/cost needs some work - Edit
I’ve only purchased pizza here and I cannot get 100% on board with the crust. I’ve had several other vegan pizzas where the crust is delicious! I haven’t tried anything outside of pizza but I hope to. Prices are pretty steep too. Good meat alternatives aside if we can’t get to a similar cost as standard pizza, getting more people onboard will prove more challenging.
