Tasty, quick service! - Edit
The food here was really great! The maitake wings were definitely a standout. A bit pricey, but not out of the realm of other NYC places.

Fantastic Vegan Food - Edit
I’ve been here a couple of times already. Reservations suggested because it can get crowded. Upstairs and downstairs seating available. Full bar available. Friendly service. Had the Colombian soup. Great flavor. A little on the smaller size for portion. The Maitake Wings are absolutely delicious and a must do on every visit. We had the sweet Thai chili and it was fabulous. They provide a small side sauce for dipping which is not enough for the wings they give you. They charge for more sauce. My wife had the chicken pot pie and loved every single bite. I had the Seitan Marsala. The mashed potatoes, spinach, and Marsala sauce were not disappointing but also not extraordinary. The Seitan medallions were chunky and chewy. I would pick something else next time. Salads look like a good portion size also. Can be romantic as well.
Read moreOne thing I specifically did NOT enjoy was the timing of the food. We had just received our soup and wings and they were already putting our entrees on the table. It happened with a couple of tables near us as well.

Great food and stylish interior - Edit
This place has a variety of different meals. I had the P.S. breakfast and the homemade lasagna and can recommend both. The interior is nicely decorated.

great all around - Edit
It was so nice to have a vegan meal in an "upscale feeling" restaurant. Amble menu selections. The food was wonderful and the staff were the best. Also, we love the mission of this place. Definitely try this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

Disappointed - Edit
With many good reviews I was disappointed.
Read moreThe burger tasted tangy, which I wasn’t expecting by the menu description. The sweet potato fries were good, but nothing special. The crab cakes weren’t that tasty.

Great Food, Reasonably Priced - Edit
Maitake wings are excellent, but I do wish the portion was a little larger for the price. Maitake Buffalo burger was also delicious and very filling. Service was great.

Mixed feelings - Edit
First time i went i had a great experience. Food was good and friendly staff. Second time i had a salad soaked in the dressing (not eatable tbh) and the note was brought to my table right after I was finished, to rush me to go, so the place is available to new customers. Service was bad the second time.

What a treat! - Edit
Loved this place. It was an oasis of calm on a busy street. Great selection of food with a vegan take on classic fare like lasagne and burritos. Generous portions. Nice choice of drinks too. It happened to be my birthday when we went and it definitely felt like a treat.

Delicious food close to Times Square - Edit
I had here the lasagna, the burrito, the truffle fries and the cheesecake. I would say the best were the burrito and the truffle fries. I think it's worth coming here just for those fries.

Favorite I’ve had in the city - Edit
I was only in New York for a few days but stopped by here and everything we had was incredible. Profits are donated, all vegan, and really good — not much else I can ask for. Also very cute inside.

Much smaller portions than pictured - Edit
The food and service were excellent but the portions were a lot smaller than shown on the menu: this is false advertising. Specifically the blue cheese on the black and brown burger was a smear versus the large amount (looks like an inch) on the menu, the lasagna was about 1/2 the height as seen on the menu, and the brownie (as part of the ice cream and brownie) was about 1/2 the size. The food was excellent but expensive for what we got and I feel cheated. Unfortunately, this is enough for us not to return.

It’s excellent yet you give it two stars? Sad. Support vegan and ethical places. Don’t take them down. Moreover the portions are just perfect.

Looking for a great vegan meal before your show? This is the place! Food is delicious, service is quick and friendly, and atmosphere is perfect! Even went back after the show for dessert. And 100% of profits go to social justice causes.

Great stop for fun vibes and burgers - Edit
We loved our trip here, they have a happy hour drink menu from 2-6 pm every day (you just have to sit at the bar), and the favorites were the burgers and the wings. My only piece of advice to the staff is to give clear and concise answers to questions (they had us move tables after checking twice back and forth from the bar to purchase from the happy hour menu). Overall a nice experience in Midtown.
