Amazing as always! - Edit
We love Purezza (so much we even went to the Camden branch on our wedding day!) and this trip was as great as ever!
Read moreThis branch is much smaller than the Camden one but it has a nice cosy decor and ambience. Our server was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
They have a 3 small plates for £18 lunch offer but we had a 50% off pizza voucher so we went for that instead. We got the voucher through their mailing list - I’d definitely recommend signing up as they don’t overdo the emails and they sometimes have great deals like 50% off!
We went for the Four Cheese Pizza and Black Truffle Pizza and they were both delicious as ever! The sourdough base is delicious (they also have alternatives including gluten free) and the toppings and flavours are just excellent as well. Both pizzas were absolutely delicious and I’d highly recommend. They were both great but if I had to pick I would say the flavour of the Black Truffle edged it. Both ones we chose also featured Honestly Tasty cheeses which if you haven’t tried on their own are available in Marks and Spencer and are also really delicious!
I also like that they have gender neutral toilets and sustainable toilet paper. Purezza is just awesome and I would highly recommend a visit!
Pros: Delicious food, Super friendly server, Cosy ambience

Great vegan pizza - Edit
Pizza is great and has plenty to choose from. Inside it’s a little small. Sat by the window. Good place to go for lunch. Staff were friendly.

Not really worth it - Edit
We went there because of the very good ratings for this place. Well seems like sometimes the reviews shouldn't be a factor. The restaurant was full yesterday 6 Aug lunch time , only one lady was serving the customers - extremely slowly. The food wasn't bad , wasn't great. Bit bland pizzas to be honest. I wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back.

Amazing pizza - Edit
Purezza serves some of the best dough balls I’ve ever had! The menu is interesting and it’s hard to decide what to order. The pizza is delicious and super filling. It’s refreshing to have a vegan place nearby that doesn’t just serve burgers and loaded fries!

I think I've found my favourite vegan restaurant - Edit
THE BEST VEGAN PIZZA I've ever had in my life!!! I had smoked vegan mozzarella and salami pepperoni, and demolished the whole lot! The dough is beautiful, the toppings are delicious and the right amount. Everything about this place is perfect. Definitely worth the hype!!

Hmm... - Edit
First of all, packed with people. Too small to accommodate a certain volume of customers. The few tables outside on the pavement, don't make things better as customers struggle to enjoy their food sitting in an angle. About the food, it looks like they have a bad habit to literally burn the dough. It tasted like charcoal and there is nothing healthy to it.
Read morePros: The ingredients quite tasty and fresh.
Cons: They need to stop burning the dough of the pizza.

Wow! - Edit
We visited Purezza last night for dinner after hearing so many wonderful things about their food.
Read moreAll I can say is wow. The dough balls were absolutely wonderful. I had the truffle pizza and my Husband had the parmigiana pizza. Both were really tasty. We had the garlic dip and the maple dip - again, both delicious.
Wouldn’t hesitate to return, maybe next time with the kids as we noticed that children eat free with a paying adult.
Pros: Friendly staff, Lots of vegan options, Kids eat free!
Cons: Gets busy - make sure you book

Great place for vegan kids! - Edit
Great place to take kids on a family meal out. We went for our daughters 5th birthday. The kids loved the pizza and we did too! We will definitely be going back again. Also it’s great value for money! Especially when kids eat for free!!!

Disappointing - Edit
I think I am in the minority by not being blown away by this place. I first visited when it opened and I was over the moon to get a quality vegan pizza in a completely 100% vegan restaurant but now it doesn’t live up to the hype. The service was ok, we ordered sides that were delivered after we finished our meal and the 330ml cans of mediocre beer were so very over priced.

it's okay not to like it - unpopular opinion - Edit
I have tried purezza 7 times now, and honestly I just don't like it. I really wanted to, so much so I kept going back. I've been to St James St four times (twice eat-in, twice takeaway) and ate in at Hove 3 times. I've tried various pizzas, calzones, green bowl, lasagne, fries, dough balls, cheese platter, various desserts. Honestly almost all of it. The good dishes for me are the fries, dough balls and cheese platter. Essentially, nothing to do with pizza. I've been to all-vegan pizza places in Melbourne and Sydney (Australia) and that's what I personally call amazing pizza. Food aside, I find the place pretentious. I've had to wait a lot with no acknowledgement, food has taken a LONG time to come out and they frequently run out of dishes but don't inform the customers. After a late booking once at St James, I wrote to them saying I was disappointed as we were told we couldn't order desert and the kitchen was closed. Their apology was mediocre, and they blamed it on new staff at the new Hove store, meanwhile we hadn't dined there - we had been at the St James branch. I don't want to tear this place down, what they're doing is great for veganism and I love that people like it - it's just not for me. Took a long time for me to admit to myself... so to other Brighton vegans, it's okay not to like it!!

SUCH GOOD PIZZA.
Read moreMy first time having a delivery from Purezza after many eating in experiences there.
It was delivered on time - even on New Year’s Eve. Still hot. Still as delicious.
I loved my njuda pizza. I’ve been hooked on the truffle one until now. I really don’t think a meat eater would notice it wasn’t meat njuda sausage on top. So many choices that not only are vegan but are better than Brighton’s traditional pizzerias in my opinion. Such good dough!
I can’t recommend enough.
Pros: Excellent pizzas with delicious vegan ch, Excellent choices and great gluten free offer, Excellent service
Cons: Can get busy for dining in

Best vegan pizza ever - Edit
This place offers the best pizza I've ever had, no matter if vegan or not! They even make their vegan cheese themselves which I find incredible. Pizza is Neapolitan style with a thick crust. You should definitely give this a go, if you want to eat some incredible vegan pizza!

Our only complaint is that they aren’t open where we live 🤷🏼♀️ they are expanding though! Amazing. Like vegan Franco Mancos but better as the flavours are all so flippin’ interesting.
