Good Food, Better Experience - Edit
Obviously the food isn’t the main reason you’d come here. The sound healing is well worth a go for beginners and experienced alike.
Read moreFood wise, the food was really good overall. Think I chose badly with the carrot and ginger soup. Whilst they are both flavours I enjoy, the ginger was really overpowering in this one. Everything else we had was spot on though.

Surprise in North Ubud - Edit
I very much enjoyed this place for food. The restaurant and the grounds are just magical! Make sure you when visiting you also sign up to any of the classes/offerings in the venue.

eat all the cake — phenomenal desserts!! - Edit
We’ve visited the Pyramids of Chi a number of times and tried almost all of the vegan cakes as well as a number of savory dishes. Desserts are out of this world. Savory dishes are tasty but sometimes a bit simple or small portions for the price. Favorite savory include full moon curry, medicinal mushroom soup, and taco.
Read moreTempeh curry and moringa curry both are a little bland and simple, could use some citrus and additional substantive ingredients in my opinion. Eggplant rolls are delicious but are a very small portion. One main complaint for me is that veggies are lacking in many dishes including those two curries, tofu scramble, etc. Their gluten free bread is surprisingly excellent!
The vibe at the cafe and center itself is really cool. Highly recommend trying out sound healing events.
There is an hourly shuttle into downtown Ubud and back (we never used it but worth considering). It’s located right at the end of the rice terrace walk which you can take from downtown Ubud all the way to pyramids of chi.
We love the dogs there too. :)
Again, go for the cake and you won’t be disappointed!!
(They do carry dairy milk for coffee and a couple of desserts are not vegan. Not sure why. Everything is very well labeled as vegan, gf, raw, etc. for no confusion.)

We were thrilled to discover Malaika cakes and cheesecakes here - these are the tastiest, most delicious desserts, made famous by Malaika's secret fermentation process. Vegan, Keto, low-carb, gluten-free and sugar free. Guilt-free indulgence!

The best vegan cheesecake ever! 😍 - Edit
Absolutely loved the blueberry cheesecake and grilled eggplant cheese rolls. Had to go back for more before we left Ubud! (Went back for more sound healing too 🙌) Mostly vegan but they do use honey in some things.

Ooo yes! The desserts are created by one of Malaika's chefs. Malaika is world-famous for her special fermentation process - the "cheese" is fermented coconut flesh.

Ok - Edit
Their special coconut coffee is really good, but the food was nothing special (had the eggplant roll and a salad) and the service very slow..

Outstanding!! - Edit
I want to stay here so I can try the whole menu. Everything is so healthy and delicious! Super fresh and creative dishes. I tried the watermelon splash and it was absolutely amazing. Also had the bruschetta and the pumpkin cacao chz cake for dessert and both were amazing as well. This is my kind of place.
