Entradas saborosas, porém sobremesa aquém - Edit
As entradas (MiniBao e Hambúrguer) estavam deliciosos, mas a pizza de batata não estava tão gostosa, como a sobremesa.

Worst place we ate so far - Edit
This looks and feels like a chain restaurant. Generic vegetarian and vegan dishes. Nothing was particularly outstanding or tasty. Feels much like Puerto Madero vs the rest of Buenos Aires - much hype, fake “fanciness” and no soul/character. The mushroom risotto was “meh” and the service was also bland. The drinks had a strong taste of gin with almost no other flavor. It is a bit expensive, but even if it was cheap, it would still be less than average.

Restaurante bonito - Edit
É um restaurante mais chique mas com comida com porções grandes. Gostei muito dos ingredientes usados. Achei tudo muito bom e muito bem organizado, a decoração é ótima também e o espaço bem grande.

World-class elegance - Edit
This is a classy, chic restaurant; the food, service, and setting are excellent in every way. It is not all vegan, but they have plenty of vegan choices. Though upscale and pricier than many of the other places in Buenos Aires, the prices are quite reasonable when you consider the quality.
Read moreWhen I arrived at 6:30pm (having gotten off a ferry nearby), the place was empty. I ordered a vegan lasagne and a lemon dessert; both were wonderful.

Good dinner! - Edit
Went to Raiz with my friend for a late Sunday dinner. They brought out some free bread and a little hummus to start which was great! We then had the arancini which had a nice crunch. I got the duo tailandia as my main and the fried tofu baos had good flavor (which I haven’t found at most restaurants in BA). The fries were so thin and crispy. They didn’t have any ketchup, so they brought hot sauce, which wasn’t very spicy. I also tried some of my friend’s tomato risotto and it was also tasty! I really enjoyed the hibiscus and lavender lemonade (definitely more hibiscus than lavender flavor). Would come back if in BA again!

We took an Uber to this restaurant and had lunch here. It was excellent!

Average, with one standout dish - Edit
At Raiz, I tried four items, outlined below.
Read moreThe Arancini appetizer was fantastic, well fried with a delicious creamy and deep mushroom flavor. Hands down my favorite item at Raiz.
The Ceviche appetizer was fine, but not my favorite. Overall the flavors didn’t balance well for me, with the red onion carrying too much punch.
The mushroom risotto entree was good. A bit blander than the filling in the Arancini, which I would have preferred, but still a fine choice.
The Tortellini entree was also fine. Didn’t blow me away, but not offensive.
Pricing is a bit above average and space is decent. Overall not my top choice, but a fine place to go.

Vibrant venue - Edit
Though the dishes were skillfully prepared, the flavours didn't particularly wow me. The ceviche and risotto stood out for their excessive saltiness. The Raiz Roll was tasty, but the Truffle Roll left me wanting more depth in its mushroom and truffle flavors. Nonetheless, I wouldn't mind returning. The venue is vibrant and lively, making it a pleasure to dine in.

Os outros comentários são precisos. O local é moderno e atraente, o atendimento é muito cortez e os pratos são belíssimos e deliciosos.

Linda propuesta, bien lograda - Edit
Great veggie cuisine. I had the tortelones which were relatively simple but delicious. Everything was great down to the hummus and bread they serve while you wait. Also had the arancini and detox drink. Everything was great.

Creative dishes, very well executed. Setting not completely my vibe in the CBD, a bit fancy but food excellent and service was really good. The fried risotto balls: big mood

This place is SO. FREAKING. GOOD. 100% vegan. Beautiful presentation, amazing taste, lovely service, cute inside & also outdoor seating. Do yourself a favor and order the hummus/eggplant appetizer and the “lemon tree shot” dessert. I will most definitely be back!

Beautifully presented, tasty food - Edit
When previewing the menu, there didn't seem to be anything that stood out as particularly creative or interesting, just more plant-based versions of standard fare. Boy, was I wrong! So glad we decided to try this place. The food was not only beautifully presented and stunning, but the taste combinations were interesting and new.
Read moreWe first visited for dinner on 1/30 for hubby's birthday and it was so good, we returned for lunch the next day. At dinner we ordered the aranchinis de setas, baos broaster pak thai spicy, katsu sandwich, and acevichado sushi. The arnachinis were not dense, but airy and hollow. Flavor was excellent. Everything was good, but the "fries" that accompanied the cats sandwich were a little difficult to eat. The pak thai wasn't spicy at all, and the bao buns were pillowy soft. For dessert, I ordered the torta de chocolate and birthday boy had a cupcake de carrot which we had to wait 20 minutes for because it was being freshly made to order. We didn't mind as we were thoroughly enjoying the meal.
The next day, we happened to be not too far away sightseeing so we decided to stop in for lunch. This time we ordered the albondigas, moussaka griega, raiz roll and furai sushi. One of the sushi rolls seemed to be deep fried without batter, so the rice on the outside was crispy. Delicious! I ordered the limonada detox and hubby ordered the aqua de pepino antioxidante, which were both tasty and refreshing. For dessert we shared the pastel vasco de ddl and I thought this was the best of the three we tried.
Again, everything was spectacularly presented as can be seen from the photos. I skipped the sushi photos as they all looked the same, but just a beautifully presented as the rest. The restaurant space is airy and open and the kitchen/bar are also open, allowing diners to view food and drink preparation. A large outdoor patio seats about the same number as inside the restaurant. Staff is helpful with suggestions, although English is limited, so bring your translation app if you don't speak Spanish. This is a restaurant I would have no problem return to again and again to try everything on the menu.
Pros: Beautifully presented and tasty food, Creative and interesting flavor combinations

This was one of the best meals I ever had in my 24 years as a vegan. - Edit

Read moreThe non-vegans in our company where all very impressed with the combination of flavours, so don't don't be sacred of the plant based label, just try it!
It was a bit pricey for Argentinas, which is a bit sad. But for foreigners it’s defiantly worth the visit.
