Amazing food and service! - Edit
A few delicious vegan options displayed on outdoor menu. We got the vegan gyros and souvlaki. We got two rolls along with vegan butter without having to ask. Also, got given vegan mayo with our meal. Very filling and enjoyable meal!

Read moreWe started with drinks – the Strawberry Citrus Blush and the Strawberry Lemonade. Both were very refreshing. The Citrus Blush was on the sweet side (and maybe a bit small), but still delicious, and the lemonade was equally good.
I was so happy when they brought out vegan butter and vegan mayo – such a thoughtful touch that you don’t find in many places.
For starters, we ordered the Vegan Halloumi Saganaki with pittas, it was excellent – warm, a perfect way to begin the meal.
For mains, the Vegan Sheftalia (made with Amanamu’s vegan sheftalia) was very tasty and well-cooked. But the real standout was the Vegan Stifado – absolutely mouthwatering! The sauce was rich, flavourful, and comforting, it paired perfectly with rice and the village potatoes on the side were great.
For dessert, we had the Gluten-Free & Vegan Chocolate Bar. It was smooth, rich, and creamy and not bitter at all!
There were a couple of other vegan dessert options too, and one of the lovely staff members even mentioned that they’re planning to change up their vegan dessert soon, which is really exciting!
The staff were very friendly, open about the ingredients, and really welcoming toward us, vegans.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back! 🌱✨

Traditional, lots of options - Edit
This place is so nice, they offer a lot of vegan, vegetarian options, you can try some traditional food here, like stifado, gyros or moussaka. The staff is really friendly, they asked for our preferences and also brought us vegan mayonnaise. The food tasted very good, and the portion was big. I would definitely recommend this place to those who would like to spend their lunch or dinner in a nice tavern and taste some traditional food.

Delicious and varied homemade vegan options! - Edit
Not only are the family who runs the restaurants amazing and kind, but their food is delicious with fresh vegetable healthy vegan options! Even the vegan meat used in the souvlaki comes from a local fake meat company. Pita is also homemade and vegan (so no worries about milk contamination)

Loved the vegan souvlaki but the Afelia was not my sort of taste because it tasted a lot like wine and unfortunately it’s cooked and not grilled and also the couscous was way to spicy for me (although I like it usually well spiced). But appreciate the big choice of vegan options and enjoyed the nice decoration and tavern atmosphere.

Vibe is nice and gives you an authentic feel. Great to see vegan items labelled, but I felt that the vegan meat was either under or over cooked. Something was off about it. The barley salad and potatoes that came with it were tasty tho. They serve bread with vegan butter so that's also a plus. They have vegan mayo if you ask.

Food was really syperb. Must be seitan or soy steak, but whatever it is it was full of flavour, the portion quite big and filling, and I would say quite balanced for all macronutrients. Highly highly reccomend!

Read moreI went with the afelia which was very tasty! Before food came out we had olives with pitta bread and we were asked if we wanted vegan butter, which I thought was nice (often enough don't get that in most places!)
Overall great service and fantastic food, alongside a lovely atmosphere with its location set relatively close to the pier area.
Another place I hope to revisit on my next Cyprus trip :)

I’d planned to go somewhere else for lunch but saw that this place had some amazing looking vegan options and headed here instead. It did not disappoint! I had the vegan souvlaki and it was incredible, and they had a few more veganised version of local cuisine that also looked great. They also do vegan mayo and brought me vegan butter to have with the bread. I’d highly recommend if you’re after good vegan food in Ayia Napa! Amazing service from lovely staff too, wish happycow would let me give them five stars 😄
