Einst "der" vegan Hotspot Nürnbergs hat es heute wenig mit dem zu tun, wie Menschen das Rengârenk kennen gelernt haben.
Read moreDer ehemaligen Betreiberin wurde "still" gekündigt. In der Kommunikation entsteht der Eindruck, dass man das jedoch allen verschweigen will.
"Alles so wie vorher - nur besser" soll wohl die Botschaft sein.
Jedoch hat auch im gleichen Zug so gut wie die komplette Belegschaft gekündigt.
Und ob Döner, Mese, Cafe und Kuchen wirklich so gut an der selben Theke zusammen passen, muss sich wohl noch zeigen.
Der Name Rengârenk ist noch der Gleiche - doch der Betrieb ist ein anderer.
Der Ort hat nicht nur dessen Gründerin, seine Belegschaft sondern auch ein großen Teil seiner Stammkundschaft verloren - auch dank einer undurchsichtigen Kommunikation.
Ziemlich schade, aber auch schöne Dinge haben wohl irgendwann ihr Ende :(

When we arrived, no mezze (they were later refilled), so we had dinner at the Kaschemme. The desserts looked enticing enough to come back though. Had the chocolate-banana and the caramel cheesecake, with a lotus latte (containing Biskoff) and the first dark Weizen I found in Nuremberg's vegan places (don't judge me!).

Sehr gutes veganes Döner. Bestellung am Terminal mit Sonderwünschen hat perfekt funktioniert. Drinnen war für mich die Musik etwas zu laut, draußen sitzen generell Ok, aber auch einiges an Verkehr. Aber: Döner war sehr lecker!

Small cafe close to the train station as well as to the city center. I had a matcha latte and a greenie (pistachio and lemon cake). Both were delicious, especially the matcha latte (which was really good).

Wir hatten eine Platte für zwei, die wirklich ausreichend war. Dabei konnten wir uns dann verschiedene kalte und warme Speisen aussuchen die in kleinen Schüsseln serviert wurden. Beim Kuchen gibt es ebenso eine gute Auswahl und das Stück, dass wir hatten, war auch sehr gut.

There is a wide variety to choose from. For example, there is potato salad with sucuk, bulgur salad (yummy!), cauliflower casserole, yogurt mint dip, sucuk and marinated pea meat. If you are really hungry, there is a good selection of desserts. We had a caramel cheesecake and an incredibly delicious pistachio cake.

Vermisse viele Gebäcke vom Sweet vegan, leider waren die Zimt-Schnecken verbrannt, ich finde diese sollten dann entsorgt werden und nicht an die Kunden verkauft. War immer ein Riesen Fan deswegen auch 4 Sterne, aber beim Gebäck fehlt mir was 🥲 wir hatten auch meze, leider wird man nicht wirklich davon satt.
