In-line semi-self service

There aren't many vegan options, what is vegan is actually the side dishes, although everything is very nice, home cooking, we like to go there for Đuveđ and home-baked fries.

It is an old restaurant, based on the principle of semi-self-service, very old school, Yugoslavian, we like it :)

Several types of salads, which you can combine as you wish, or take some that's already offered. Bread is charged per piece.

They have a daily menu, rarely vegan, you have to read the labels, the cooks working at the counter will help you, but I don't think they know English very well, I'm not sure.

Pros: Good prices, cheap enough, Good homemade food

Cons: Missing vegan labels

Cheap as chips! But no chips!

This place is a throw back to Yugoslavian times and worth checking out if only for that reason! But tbh Pula is so bad for vegan options that I decided this place should be listed even if like everywhere else here it is a daily festival of animal death and torture. They have a load of hot options you can choose in the first counter but they are all the remains and carcasses of our old friends. Then there are hot dishes which may be veggie or vegan. They change daily but they have their ingredients labelled so if you can work out which is which and translate serbo/Croatian you can get a meal for about 5 or 6 euros! Three different salad options in one bowl costs 2 euros. It’s not fancy but it’s food and it’s cheap. Thank you Tito.
