Fun and Unique Vegan Fare at a speakeasy - Edit
Rough Rider was fantastic. The plant-based offerings were both unique and very tasty. To start we had the seasonal salad which featured squash and a sweet tangy saba dressing and the potatoes and artichokes. The artichokes were so flavorful! We did ask for a side of vegan cognac cream to pair with the potatoes since it usually comes with non-vegan aioli. The sauce was a great edition. For our main we enjoyed the cabbage newberg which was marinated in the cognac cream and baked to perfection. For dessert we had the vegan pavlova with grapefruit curd. It was so well executed and tasted out of this world! Oh and the cocktails were phenomenal too! So many quality choices!

I was skeptical that the cabbage entree would be good, but it's actually amazing. Very delicious drinks and baby cauliflower appetizer. There seems to be a rotating vegan dessert, but I was too full to try it

Heavenly vegan options - amazing staff and atmosphere - Edit
Really unique drinks (including non-alcoholic) and food. Several vegan options that will blow your mind. I'm so sad to report that the absolutely fabulous transcendent vegan lemon curd dessert is no longer available, and they've succumbed to the de facto sorbet (which is rather awesome). It was the main reason I've been before - sigh..... Please bring it back!! Otherwise the staff is exceptional, and the decor and vibes amazing.
