Good food, attractive place - Edit
Update from February 2024: I had lunch here today and I think the food was better 7 years ago than it is now, but that's just based off of one meal. The food is definitely simpler now and not as many choices as there was before. They have a meal of the day but it was just one of the items off of the regular menu for a thousand pesos less. The meal of the day currently costs 4000 pesos and I got a fruit juice drink for 2,000 pesos additional (altogether about US$6). Note that now when you arrive outside, they have to open the door for you with a buzzer.

I ate here during the first week of 2017. I arrived for lunch about 230pm and they still had everything available that was on the menu board. They have 2 types of lunches available... one says Plato 100 pesos, and the other was Menu Ejecutivo for 145 pesos. I just picked a couple of things that sounded good. I guess I picked the 100 peso meal because the total came to 130 pesos (30 pesos for the drink). If on a budget, you could just order the 100 peso plate and just get a glass of tap water. The value here is quite good compared to other vegetarian restaurants I've eaten in the last 10 days. I've been to six or seven other vegetarian restaurants at lunchtime and nothing comes close to this place for price and quality of food (in my humble opinion). I found the food to be quite tasty. The interior is very attractive, and the service was good. The waitress mentioned which item was vegan when telling me the choices. Although the dish I ordered was supposed to contain tofu instead of cheese, but I didn't receive either. I would recommend the place to others if in this neighborhood. Note that there are two Sattva Restaurants on this street... one at 372 and this one at 446. Same owner, same food, but the meal of the day varies between the two. Also, if one is closed for vacation, check to see if the other is open. 372 was closed for vacation when I was in town so I didn't get a chance to try that one.

Great vegetarian food and friendly staff - Edit
Very nice place for a vegetarian or vegan dinner. For every meal there is the choice between vegetarian or vegan version. Super friendly staff. The place does not look tempting from the outside, but inside it’s nice and cozy. Recommended!

Pésima experiencia - Edit
Lamentablemente tenían poco personal, la comida se demoró más de 30 min, y al pagar me dieron el vuelto tirándose en la mesa.

Tasteless vegan taco and salad - Edit
The three main dishes were not available, so I picked the taco. Salad comes dry without dressing, just some sunflower oil and mostly consists of leaves, no vegetables. Taco has rice bean balls topped by crushed tofu. No sauce or whatever. Tried and left most of it on the plate but got a full payment charge. Staff could be more attentive and fix the door which is always being locked after guests enter. Damn, should have taken this hint wisely.

Kind of generic for a vegetarian hare krishna restaurant. Not bad, but not memorable either.

Delicious vegetarian Argentina - Edit
The servings are big - we ordered a starter share plate and it was wonderful with great hummus and olives. We each ordered a main meal and also decided to get a salad to share (the prices are cheap for Australian dollars so we thought it would be small servings) but it was too much food so we had it packaged to take back to our hotel. Friendly place and nice building.

Good for South America - Edit
If you’re traveling through South America then you’ll know it’s difficult to find vegan restaurants or at least try and get a restaurant to alter their menu or a dish to cater for vegans.
Read moreThis restaurant is good for South America. It does the job and has many vegan options.
The waiter serving us spoke a bit of English which made for an easy experience.
More importantly, it was one of three vegan restaurants that were actually open. Many places say on their website or on this app that they are open but in fact not.
Pros: Vegan options, Value for money (cheap)

Awful - Edit
Limited menu. Chose pizza. What arrived was a pile of vegetables on melted cheese on A dry, thick, inedible thing like a wholemeal pitta bread. It was barely warm. Inedible.

Food a bit boring - Edit
Limited vegan choices, the two dishes we had were but boring. I had rice with tofu and salad and my partner had lentils stew, which was so garlicky it was hard to digest. Service was lovely but overall would only go again if totally desperate.

bowl of flavorless rice 😔 - Edit
when I entered the restaurant at noon, it seemed they were only serving 5 dishes, with only one being vegan. when it came, I was disappointed to see that it was a mound of rice with corn kernels and tofu. there were no additional vegetables and barely any flavor. also, it seemed microwaved based on the fact that it came out so quickly and so hot from the kitchen that I burnt my tongue. not at all recommended.

Popular restaurant with delicious food - Edit
In my week of dining around Buenos Aires, Sattva 1 was one of the two or three best places I found. It offers an appealing menu with several vegan options and a few more than can be made vegan upon request (just be sure to be clear about what you want and don't want, in case you happen to get a server who is less informed about veganism).
Read moreI chose the "tacos," which were surprisingly delicious, even if they aren't really what North Americans would think of as "tacos." They hit the spot. I followed the tacos with an apple torte, which I found just OK.
The place was very busy when I arrived around 8:30pm, and I was lucky to get a table right away. You might consider coming a little earlier.
Despite the full house, service was reasonably attentive and helpful.
Enjoy!
