Vegan dim sum - Edit
Such a classic. Amazing location and interior, cool staff and traditional food. Order online through a QR code at the table, allergens are noted for each dish. Vegan dim sum options include steamed rice crepes with mushrooms, steamed and fried dumplings, steamed and panfried buns, and 2 things I forgot. For sweets there are lotus paste filled fried “doughnuts” and water chestnut jelly. I don’t think there are enough vegan options but love the place anyways and hope they’ll expand on their vegan section🫰

Not ideal for Vegans - Edit
This restaurant is beautiful! The interior design is spectacular and of course the outside is breathtaking, definitely iconic.
Read moreThe service was great and the cocktails were amazing but that’s where the compliments end. This restaurant isn’t set up to accommodate vegan and the menu doesn’t include much.
I ordered the only vegan options, a noodle dish with vegetables and another vegetarian dish of seasonal veg with garlic. It was okay but just boring and flavourless. No sauce or flavour. I went with a group of meat eaters and their dishes looked great and left me quite jealous.
The restaurant is quite expensive which I resent when the options aren’t great. If the food was better I wouldn’t have minded.
Pros: Interior decoration and beautiful building., Lovely ambience
Cons: Expensive , Rubbish vegan menu

Wildly Overpriced for mediocre food - Edit
We ordered a tofu dish and a veggie dish. Totaled about $60. One was decent but a small portion. The other was much larger but had a strange flavor.

Perfect ending to our trip - Edit
We spotted this place from the science museum, my other half’s mum had told him about some Chinese restaurant she went to in Amsterdam like 15-20 years ago but the description of “on the river” seemed a tad ambiguous until we saw this place. It was the famous place! The staff were really nice, the food was lovely and there was plenty of vegan options, a while menu! Would highly recommend.
