We totally loved this cute diner! It was the perfect stop on our roadtrip. So many options with something for everyone. Highly recommend: nacho fries! We had to stop ourselves from ordering 2 plates. The only con is that it’s too far away from home😄

Overall I’d say a 3.5 experience but they get that ALL VEGAN ROUND UP to a 4. The lentil burger was my favorite and definitely what I would get next time. I was confused by the hot dog situation. The menu said cornflake battered so I excepted a Korean corn dog but it’s just lightly battered and in a hot dog bun which was not my favorite. We had 3 desserts but I’d only recommend the banana pudding. The key lime pie was spot on with flavor but is served frozen which gives it an almost gritty texture. I ate most of it later at room temp and it became a soup but I preferred the liquid mess over the frozen texture. The brownie and ice cream weren’t really my speed. The black beans give the brownie a texture & flavor that’s slightly off to me and the ice cream was heavily coconut flavored even though it was vanilla. That said, I’d return for the lentil burger 100%.

Love, love, love this place! - Edit
Our favorite place in our hometown with a full vegan menu. We go weekly to pig out. The food is amazing. The desserts are amazing. They even have some great local beers and crafter beverages like their hibiscus lemonade.

The atmosphere is great as well. The owners and staff are so sweet and it really feels like a family owned diner that cares about their people, their food, and their environment. Top notch people and service every time we go.

Awesome menu! - Edit
We wound up here twice within our two day visit to Wilmington - it was that good! We were lucky to first visit on a Wednesday for the weekly Crunchwrap special. Shrimp tacos were also great. The next day, we picked up the most photogenic hotdawgs for lunch and brought them to Hi-Wire... they pair excellently with a brew.
Read moreWe had our dog with us, and there were about 10 barstools on the patio as an outdoor option. It wasn't super scenic (seating faces a parking lot, busy street, and gun shop across the street), so we opted for carry out both times. Low top seating and some sort of privacy wall would go a long way for outdoor ambiance.
Staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was casual and relaxed. Indoor seating had a quirky diner vibe. We were glad to support this establishment and highly recommend it!
Pros: Large 100% vegan menu, Tasty and beautiful food, Friendly staff
Cons: Limited outdoor seating

Writing a review from the other side of the country because I miss Sealevel treats. It’s not on the menu but if they’ll do a crunchy Cali dog for you, your dreams will come true. Avo, chipotle, jalapeños onions and a cornflake battered dog?!?! Close runner up is the buffalo crunchy dog.

The best burger I've ever had - Edit
I've literally never had bad food from Sealevel. They do not miss. The lentil patty melt is the best burger I've ever eaten. The nachos SLAP. The tempeh Reuben SLAPS. The crunchy dog SLAPS. All of their specials rule. Their desserts rule. The employees rule. I love Sealevel

A favorite place in Wilmington - Edit
The food, service and vibe are top-notch. We visited in July when we were in the area. When we came to Wilmington again, we knew we wanted to eat there again. This time we had the hot dog special, a plain dog and hot chips. We ended up sharing the cowboy chili as well, and both of us got the delicious sunset tea. We got dessert to go: a peanut butter cookie, an oatmeal pie, and the chocolate cake with chai, pecan and coffee topping. It was all very good and our server was friendly and attentive. On our way out of town, we decided to grab Reuben and hot chips to go which was an excellent choice. The Reuben is what I had on my initial visit and I highly recommend; it has so many flavors at once and the melange is wonderful. Adding here just in case management is reading this review: we would have ordered appetizer-sized nachos if it had been available.

The falafel was outstanding and I really enjoyed the burgers as did my non-vegan friends. The only thing that could use improvement is the brownie seemed stale.

Fries and hot chips were also great. We are also really happy with the service, the employees were all nice and accommodating. Prices were really great as well!
