I couldn't eat there! - Edit
I waited two days before going there because it was closed and when I went, on Wednesday, at 4pm, they were inside but said it closes at 3,45 and the timetables on internet are wrong. There was not even something to take away....

This is genuinely one of the best vegan places I have ever tried!
Read moreWe had the Tofu and the cauliflower wings to start which were both equally delicious and very large portions. Then we had the shwarma wrap and the Abraham burger. After the first bite I was actually in heaven. We visited at lunchtime on a Friday and were the only people here (I have no idea why we didnt have to queue out of the door as the food was THAT good) the owner was so lovely and its definitely worth visiting! The prices are also very reasonable.

Restaurant entièrement vegan sur Grand Baie ce qui est chose assez rare sur Maurice. Atmosphère intimiste à l'intérieur avec soit tables classiques soit fauteuil et sofa. Le service a été assuré par un jeune garçon au top, attentif et très courtois. De l'apéro au plat on s'est régalé (jus frais et cocktail) entrée partagée à 2 et ce fût un bon choix car elle était généreuse (tofu pop avec mayo et piment au choix) puis 2 buritos (un crispy et un shawarma) là encore portions généreuses et très bon en goût.

Did not take any pictures unfortunately as I was too busy stuffing my face. Had the tofu pops, crispy eggplant and a burrito - all were delicious and generous portions. Also had a chocolate milkshake, which I highly recommend.

My partner and I went here to grab a takeaway dinner before heading to the beach for sunset. It's a great spot (note, limited parking, though) with a wide range of options. I had the crispy tofu burrito, which was delicious, and my partner had some falafel balls with hummus, potato wedges and crispy tofu strips. I would recommend everything we tried - it was all great and very fresh. We also felt it was super affordable - £20 ish for a huge meal!

We went on Sunday about 3pm, it was quiet - perfect! had the seitan wrap ( oh so fluffy handmade wrap) & the tofu burger - salad & homemade chips - 2 iced teas & cake! Freshly prepared & served with a smile.

The staff were lovely, explained that all the food was freshly prepared in house. Great menu with plenty of options, including deserts. Reasonably priced and the food was amazing, super flavourful! Best food so far in Mauritius, will be returning!

The food is really fantastic and the staff is super nice. We visited Shlomo 2 times during our stay and would definitily come again.
Read moreIt's a fully vegan restaurant with 6 tables. There are many options in the menu to choose from pizza, pita, burger, Wraps,... The taste is fantastic (try the Buffalo cauliflower - trust me 👌).
Sadly the waiting time for service and drinks is very long. The first time we waited approx. 25 minutes for our drinks, although the was only one other table with guests. During our second visit we got our starters after approx. 20 minutes and still had no drinks.

Really appreciated finding a vegan restaurant as it is partially not so easy her in Mauritius. Had the Falafel and crispy Eggplant as starter and the Shlomo Burger, Mac & Cheese as a main. The Burger was great and I would eat it again definitely. Same goes for the starters. The Mac & Cheese could have been more creamy but I guess that's a matter of taste.
Read moreWould have loved to get some other drinks as the ones on the menu consist mainly of vegan milkshakes, fruit juices or ice tea which aren't the right thing if you are really thirsty in my opinion.
Nevertheless - we'll be back if we can :)

We ate there twice during our one week stay in the area. All vegan, Mediterranean-inspired, freshly made (including their own home made seitan), and very interesting conversations with the owner, chef and staff. It’s also a nice break from the rest of the vegan options on the island. Highly recommend anything with their seitan: burrito, burger, BBQ pizza.
