DIY vegan pancakes

Vegan options for DIY pancakes. It’s a fun concept! There’s plenty of vegan fixings and toppings, too. Most other dishes can be made vegan if you ask.

Pros: Super accommodating to vegan eaters, Great brunch drinks, Helpful staff

Cons: Menu options could be better labeled

Vegan Pancakes

Need I say more. Lol That’s all I needed to help feed me and my kids, I was glad for the options.

Pros: Some vegan options, Clearly labeled on the menu

Cons: Needs more options, Price is a little high

It's alright

Slappy cakes can be fun but the vegan batter is just okay and when you go with non-vegans it can be hard to keep a clean spot on the griddle if they start putting things like chocolate chips and butter all over it. There's some pricey add-ons you can put in your pancakes but the batter is still lack-luster and not worth the price in my opinion.

Pros: Can be a fun outing with friends, Vegan dough is also gluten free

Cons: Overpriced, Not very tasty, Hard to do with non-vegans

Pretty fun

I always enjoy going to slappy cakes until I remember how limited their vegan menu is. I'm very appreciative of the vegan pancake batter and assortment of vegan sides they have, but they never have any full vegan dishes. They could easily make their breakfast burritos vegan but alas. I was pleasantly surprised to see they have vegan butter on site to go with my pancakes. That was definitely a plus.

ALWAYS plan ahead and come early. The wait list can easily exceed 45 minutes to an hour.

Pros: Very fun, The vegan things they do have are good

Cons: LONG waits, Limited vegan options
