A Taste of Japan in Every Bite 🍵 - Edit
As a matcha and hojicha lover, this place really hit the spot. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the whole vibe made me feel like I was back in Japan. The attention to detail, presentation, and flavors were all perfection. Make sure this one’s on your list — you won’t regret it!

Special cakes and minimalistic interior - Edit
We visited soi to have cake in the afternoon. We bought a chocolate cake and a pumpkin cake. We didn't drink something because they only offer coffee and tea that we both don't like and no soft drinks were available. The cafe was already very crowded, so we had a minimalistic table with minimalistic chairs. That was ok for us, but others may prefer bigger tables and chairs. The cakes were very tasty. I never ate a pumpkin cake before and really liked the cream, the caramel nuts and the pumpkin filling. Also, we got some small glasses with water, which was nice. We paid 13,30€ for both cakes and this is already a little bit expensive.

Nice aesthetic, okay taste - Edit
I don't know what the black sesame cheesecake was supposed to taste, but to me it tasted a little bit too much tofu. The matcha was just ok, but everything looked very professional and fancy. I would like to go back and try some of the other cakes too.

Sopisticated and balanced flavors - Edit
We tried tiramisu cake and umami ice cream. The cake had a beautiful texture, and the flavor was very well balanced and sophisticated. The umami ice cream was served with soy sauce and really had a strong umami flavor. Fun experience and friendly service!

The cheesecakes are not only beautiful visually but also really tasty! We tried the black sesame cheesecake and the chocolate tamari tiramisu. The tastes were original and the cakes really good. It was a great surprise!

Tasty cheesecake but didn't enjoy the coffee - Edit
I got the black sesame cheesecake. There was great texture on the cream, I'd have liked more sesame flavour though. The base had a good consistency but for me there needs to be more base for that much cream. I don't think I'd get a cheesecake again but I'd try something else with a more favourable ratio for me. I didn't like the flavour of the coffee in the latte at all though.

Yes, the sesame cheesecake is that good - Edit
I love black sesame, so it's amazing to find a cheesecake version! Unique and so delicious. The matcha tiramisu was pretty good, but the cheesecake was better. Also had a really nice hojicha latte.

Sadly a tasteless cheesecake 😒 - Edit
Not sure what all the fuss is about for their cheesecakes, or if I just chose the wrong flavour, as I left half of it due to just not really enjoying it (which is very unlike me mor any of us for a chocolate desert!). The latte floater was nice and different though. Lovely waitress too.

Sweets and caffeine - Edit
The speciality of this place are the squared cheesecakes or cakes, and caffeinated beverages - coffee or matcha. They don't do decaf. What I liked the most was the chocolate cake part - moist, flavorful, yummy. There are a couple of seated places outside and like four tables inside. When we went there it was full and we were told we could seat by the huge white sink, where they di workshops, I believe.

Unbelievable vegan cheesecakes! - Edit
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Soi & Co. Lovely, calm vibes and the food was delicious. We tried the yuzu cheesecake and the tofu-creme cake, and had the iced matcha latte float. Everything was 10/10 - you would not believe that this is vegan!

Japanese quality with a twist - Edit
I’ve been wanting to try this place for ages but somehow never went there.
Read moreNow I finally tried it. The have a simple range of desserts, only a few options same for drinks but that’s totally sufficient. It’s on the pricier side but worth the money since one piece is very unique in flavour and not the usual to go dessert.
The overall atmosphere is more hipster and fancy but not really a place where you will sit longer since it’s also rather small.

Favourite place for matcha & fancy Japanese desserts - Edit
Soi is a very tasty indulgence. Their tiny cakes are both beautiful and really delicious, and they’re almost always incorporating flavours found in Japanese cuisine (yuzu, matcha, black sesame, etc.) which make their dessert range really unique. You can also get ceremonial matcha, so straight matcha served in beautiful chawan bowls, which is not too common in a city where matcha lattes are much more easily found.

Out of this world - Edit
I think I was close to tears and incredibly caffeinated after this experience. The tiramisu is next level, the matcha affogato made me smile a big toothy green grin. The staff were kind and very tolerant of my drooling at the counter. I was like a child in a new playground. Take my money.
