Mindblowing - Edit
I'm simultaneously so glad we got to go to this place in Edinburgh and also disappointed we won't have time to go again, because it was amazing. Mainly because of the smoked "ribs" I got that was so much closer to an actual pork-like texture than anything else I'd ever eaten - like not even on the same level. Felt like I had time travelled to the future, or maybe the past before I was veg at all! We also got the ravioli (very tasty) and the tiramisu for dessert (heavenly). Would have loved to come back to try something else, but alas, I'll wait for the restaurants back home to catch up.

A little pricey - Edit
The staff and the ambience were lovely. I can’t praise enough how friendly and welcoming they were.
Read moreThe food was pricey and a bit mixed to be honest. The truffle pasta was lovely, but the Easter cheesecake honestly we didn’t like. It wasn’t sweet at all and for £11 I hoped for something special.
Nonetheless it’s a nice place and I hope it does well.

HALF STAR EXPERIENCE - Edit
Went there for their veganuary promo with my partner. We started off great, sharing the starters: potato croquettes and arancinis. They were decently fried although I would have liked a "meltier" cheese inside the arancini. I ordered the pinsa. I am 110% sure the pinsa base was store-bought, it was hard and chewy. The tomato sauce on top was way too acidic and tasted horribly, it happens when you pick poor quality ingredients. The tippings were average, your Quorn deli slices and some olives. Just when I thought things couldn't go further south, here comes the tiramisù. I scoop the little jar just to find a huge hole. What they served as tiramisu was a dried-ass biscuit with whipped cream on top. By the taste and consistency you can clearly judge it was made days prior. I honestly don't think there's any constructive criticism I can offer. The experience was poor overall and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Ah, just a thought, maybe if your bar is open to the view, train your staff to wash the limes that fall on the sticky floor before adding it to your overpriced drinks. Ghh.

We went here for dinner and it was absolutly great. It is on the higher price skale but absolutly worth the money. The service was really nice. The atmosphere was good too. Every dish we had was tasty in its own way. And the new Ice cream (from Soft Serve) they had in the menu tasted fantastic too.

All you can eat pasta - Edit
We visited for the all you can eat pasta, which I think they’re now doing once per month. Friendly service. The garlic bread is unbelievable! Quite a few dishes use mushroom, which was ok for me but others in my party weren’t keen.

Interior was really nice. The service was a little.. slow. I wondered if they even had staff for a good ten minutes upon arrival. But alas, I'm in my twenties so I don't care, I'm busy doom scrolling. I had the mezze maniche alla carbonara and my carnivorous mother had the pappardelle toscane bio al tartufo. Mine was very nice but I was a little peeved that my mum's was way nicer. I gotta say the toscane was bloody delicious and I kept stealing bites when she wasn't looking (haha joking, but I did have a lot of her food sorry mum). Had a heavenly cake for dessert. It was bloody good but it was also 10 bloody pounds for a slice so like, you would hope so. Overall, nice place, would go again if I'm feeling cocky after payday.
Read moreOh - my mum insists I mention there was no bread supplied "as is custom for Italian restaurants". We were also given the bill with a hefty service charge, which I would usually just shut up and pay but it felt cheeky considering there was basically no service lmao.

A cheese pasta that’s vegan?! Like what?! This was delicious. It’s so nice to walk into an Italian restaurant and know you can have an option that isn’t just a margarita or a tomato pasta.

One of the best vegan restaurants I've ever been to! It's been months since my trip and I still think about it.
Read moreI went twice in five days and got the ravioli and the cacio e pepe, which were both amazing. I don't even understand how the garnish parmesan they make is so good, so make sure to ask for it when they offer it along with the chili oil!
Definitely expensive, which usually is a turn off for me, but for once it was worth every single bite. Can't recommend highly enough!

Top notch - Edit
I went here twice in the span of ten days. The first time I went I got their charcuterie board. It was amazing. The second time was for my graduation, and they had a buffet. It was great, since you could try their different pasta dishes and side dishes. Their prices are a little bit steep, however, they offer dishes you would not be able to find anywhere else veganised, so I think it's worth it.

Amazing antipasti platter - Edit
We visited here twice during our stay in Edinburgh. The antipasti platter we had on our first night there was such a fun experience. We had never seen anything like that! The nduja ravioli was a true comfort food, and we really enjoyed the week's special with a "fish" fillet, the best fish alternative we've had! Only thing we were missing were non-alcoholic wine options, they would have been perfect with the pasta dishes. The spicy margarita mocktail we tried was VERY spicy. The service was quite slow even though there were only few customers, but we really enjoyed the food.

Mezze maniche alla Carbonara
Smokey *bacon lardons in a creamy carbonara sauce.
This dish was heavy, but absolutely complete.
I would preference it coming at a main
Porchetta e Patate
Crispy strands of *porchetta with rosemary baked potato chunks, *mozzarella and signature house made stracciatella cheese
Wow again, not a traditional pizza but damn it was delicious. The *porchetta had a smokey intensity that balanced the creamy garlic mozzarella base.
The house made tasted closer to a sour cream, but that said it fit perfectly into the balance of the dish.
The champagne bouche et fils worked wonders here, cutting through the creamy and salty intensity of the pizza bread.
I wish I had room for dessert.
The service was wonderful and attentive. The bartender really knew her stuff as I watched her smash out a seemingly endless stream of cocktails. The other server on the floor was busy all night, effectively attending to guests in an appropriate Time.
Yea 16 800km is a little excessive a voyage, but Sora Dianna was worth the distance.
Amaro del capo as a digestive, I couldn't resist.
Pros: 100% vegan, Vegan carbonara, Vegan champagne

The pasta I had was amazing. The salad I had was a little underwhelming. The food was slow in coming out from the kitchen but worth the wait. Oddly, the bench was unlevel and so it was difficult to get comfortable.
