Iconic place to have a coffee - Edit
Specops is nice. You can enjoy a cup of coffee while reading or playing board games with friends (there’s a book and a games shelf!). Although the place itself is vegetarian, all the cakes are vegan (and delicious!) and they offer plant-based milk. Specops is a bit shabby, and the bathroom is often messy and rather smelly, but well, the shabbiness adds to the place‘s style. In the evening, you can enjoy concerts, readings, performances of any kind, there’s a Sunday brunch and some other events like clothes-swapping parties, and you can always play table tennis 😄

Ich war dort bei einer Viva con Agua veranstaltung und war mega mega geflashed was für ein toller Ort das ist! Es gab Gesellschaftsspiele und die Kuchen sahen echt toll aus, werde auf jeden Fall zum probieren nochmal wiederkommen.

Specops is one the best coffeehouse to eat a slice of vegan cake, although there's a lot of vegan-friendly places in Münster.
Read moreThe place in itself is very nice. Chill and cosy with the" library", as well as a bit more "punchy" with the TV room (especially on the football play days), the baby-foot (french word, sorry) or the concerts/events.
The coffeehouse provides everyday several types of vegan cakes, awesome ones (check their facebook page)! They are also pretty cheap (each slice 2€). On football play days there is often vegan hot-dogs sandwiches. I can just hardly recommand it.
To summarize, perfect place to chill, work or hang out with friends. Thank you SpecOps!

Pros: Delicious and cheap vegan cakes, Staff and "spirit" of the place, Close to the main station (Hauptbahnhof)
Cons: Maybe too loud when concerts take place
