Great coffee and carrot cake

First time here. Hard to find at first. Ordered take out. Coffee was hot and great. Carrot cake was yummy. Almond butter tart was mostly chocolate that melts in your mouth.

Accidentally double charged me and corrected it.

Accidentally forgot to include another dessert purchased for take out. Looked in the box before leaving and saw that item was missing.

Pros: Lots of sweets , Great coffee

Cons: Hard location to find at first, Ensure items and pricing is correct

Nice but no restaurant

We came here because of this app. We were really hungry and wanted to have lunch. You’ll find some snacks and soup. We had a wrap. Was good though. Go there when you’re not very hungry and don’t expect lots of options or fresh cooked meals. They have great coffee, cookies and baked goods.

Pros: vegan, cozy atmosphere , Snacks

Cons: no menus

Great vibe but menu is lacking

The store is very cute, equipped with board games and a calendar of community events but I found the food overpriced and there was only a couple things on the menu. I had the grilled cheese and soup. The grilled cheese was excellent as was the soup, but there wasn’t enough choices for my sister who is picky.

Pros: Completely vegan , Aesthetic

Cons: Hard to find (hidden), Small menu

Disappointment

I found this restaurant on Happy Cow while traveling from Pearson. I was so excited to find a place that valued fair trade. But significantly disappointed. Almost everything was gone, the gf advertised specials were not there that day... I got a prepackaged salad for carry-out. It was disgusting. I could not eat most of it. The lettuce was not only wilted but brown. The one potato even looked moldy and things tasted off. Almost spoiled. Since it smelled off I pitched it. The person serving the food could not answer if the protein powder was vegan. Or if it was gf ... or if it contained crickets for pete sake. I also got a muffin that was supposedly gf. But my stomach was a mess after eating here. Just what I wanted prior to boarding a flight. Highly advise skipping this place. I did get a smoothie, that was decent.

Cons: expensive, spoiled food

Excellent cafe for vegan and vegetarian options

My family and I found this place to be the perfect option for all of our styles of eating. The vegan quesadilla is delicious and we loved that everything was so fresh! The banana bread is made in house and you can even see the ripe bananas in the kitchen that they're going to use for the next batch!
The staff is super friendly and we loved the ideology behind the cafe!
Everything was delicious and the staff was super friendly and supportive of the environment. They also hire co-op students from the local schools and they also hire people with disabilities.

Pros: Excellent food and friendly staff, Vegan options for all menu items, Nice vibe and great environment

Cons: Can't think of any...

Great coffee spot

This is my go to place anytime I want to a work friendly cafe space. It's not too busy so its possible to find a table and set up shop and work for hours! Their long hours are great, it lets you be quite productive. And they seem to have several community events, so it's a great way to meet others. I overheard one of the volunteers state they can hold ~65 people for events.

The assortment of drinks (fair trade) and food options are great. This was the first place I found sold only vegan soups even though they are a veg-friendly place. I would also recommend the grilled veggie panini! If you know you're going to be there for long hours, they are very accommodative and can run a tab for you. And the money supports several local initiatives. It is a volunteer run business so every cent counts. Definitely check it out if you're in the neighbourhood.
