Went there for breakfast, unfortunately just 1 option on menu and didn't come out very hot. Was just missing something. Been there for dinner before which was good.

Quirky little café with friendly staff and great food. - Edit
I went to Sweet Mother's Kitchen for breakfast before exploring Wellington. The place is so quirky and was decorated for pride whe u was there. It has artwork/cartoons from one of the kistchenstaff on display. The vegan breakfast was really good with Mexican spices. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Had the po boy which was so tasty with the tempeh and the crunchy baguette. Although I wish they offered vegan french toast because the regular one looked amazing!

Decent Vegan Options - Edit
Some good options and a dedicated menu however the last time i came i wasnt overly impressed. I had the vegan burrito and it was ok but from memory the presentation has changed and it's not as wow as before. Also my friend and I ordered tea for 2 and we were given a 3/4 filled pot - not enough fir the 2 twa cups provided. I had to go to the counter to request more hot water and was told they were new cups so they weren't sure how much water to put in. So basically the idea is that you pay $6 for 2 tea cups of tea... The curly fries are really tasty and my non-vegan friend loved her food. Also you should come early - this place is small and cosy and VERY popular and they have a 1st-come-1st-served system.

Even though the vegan menu is slightly limited, I've found the options I've had were good and service I've had has been excellent.

Please add more vegan meal options!! - Edit
The vegan food Sweet Mother's Kitchen makes is very good, however most of it is snack food. If they had three or four meal options my rating would increase and I would go there frequently.

It's great that they have a separate menu! But I should have looked at the menu online first because I went here wanting breakfast and they only had one breakfast item on the menu and it was not what I felt like eating.
