The lady who runs the stall is such a sweet soul. She asks you before preparation if you want chili on it. Also she heats it up in a small oven so it'll taste fresh and warm. It was sooo good. A bit expensive but still affordable. #Veganuary

The best Vegan Bahn Mi - Edit
You have to visit this place in Hoi An, the woman who runs it is so sweet and speaks good English. I asked for no mayo or egg to make it vegan and she was absolutely fine doing this. The bread was perfection and the tofu filling delicious. Hoping to come back more times during my stay here!!

Only one option, but it's perfect. Lovely Tofu and fake meat. Great warm or when eaten cold the next day. We had to make a border run to Laos so we bought a few banh mi the day before - they tasted great on the bus. The woman is so friendly. 6 stars. #Veganuary

Great bahn mi, one option only - Edit
Loved the simplicity of only having one option. The lady making them is so nice and very welcoming. Seating is available inside. We came back for a second time while in Hoi An.

We came across Banh Mi Chay Hoa Sen on our first evening in Hoi An and it was by far the best we vegan banh me we have had in Vietnam. Beautifully crispy baguette and delicious fresh filling! In the most picturesque location in the centre of Hoi An’s old town. Really recommend for veggies and vegans 🌱

In this banh mi you are going to be able to taste delicious flavor of fresh herbs as well as sweet as sour sauce, all vegan. A little bit more expensive than similar options in the area, but with the advantage to have an actual table and cover space to eat. I was once during the evening and was closed but next day for lunch was open.
