Nice atmosphere - Edit
a piece of Bologna in Naples! A fantastic menu where vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are well marked, with plenty of vegan options. I took the vegan ragù (very good and also cheap) and the seitan with grilled vegetables (few vegetables and only two seitan patties for 13 euros but the owner asked me at the register how the seitan was because they are trying to improve in the preparation) therefore highly recommended, an excellent experience.

Yummy ragù - Edit
I really enjoyed my vegan ragu!! I’ve been eating a lot of marinara pizzas and spaghetti Al pomodoro, so I was excited to have some more veggies/seitan involved in my pasta. The menu was very clearly marked which was great. We also ordered the tempura eggplant/zucchini & I thought it was light (relative to most fried veggies) and yummy. Honestly, a great option for vegans traveling with omnivores in Naples!

Not worth it - Edit
Very disappointed. I ordered the vegan ragù, which had nothing to do with the original dish. It’s basically pasta with tomato sauce and peas and cubes of seitan. We also ordered the eggplant and zucchine in tempura which were way to “heavy” and not crispy at all. Not worth for the price. The staff was very nice tho

Vegan options underwhelming - Edit
I ordered the pasta with vegan ragù and the seitan medallions. The ragù was a very basic red sauce with a few seitan chunks roughly chopped into it. The medallions look like they sliced a tube of seitan and served it up.

Food is okay, beware of £10 charge for sitting outside - Edit
Had only a couple of vegan options and some vego options. There wasn’t room inside and they said they only do cash and if sitting outside was okay and we said yes. We only had £40 so we ended up getting one starter, 2 mains and a beer. Which was £33… or so we thought. We got up to pay and they asked for £43 and we only had £40. We asked what the £10 charge was and they explained it was cutlery and glasses (even though we didn’t drink out of the glasses as we didn’t want to pay for water, another thing that isn’t charged in Australia) We were so confused because we don’t have this charge in Australia and felt that should have been explained to us before we sat down. We also didn’t have this problem in Spain but we think that sitting outside means that they charge extra? Super odd. The pasta to sauce ratio was well off as well. There was so much sauce and not much pasta, also the pasta was a little hard.

Good vegan ragù - Edit
Vegan ragu with two options for pasta shape or with bread. Several starters and desserts also available. Wine list does not mention if they are vegan but free wifi provided so easy to look up. Very busy on Saturday night but able to be seated shortly after opening without a reservation. To dine later in the evening reservation strongly recommended.
