Always a treat.

I've been coming to taste of India for many years and it's always lovely. The cauliflower starter is the best vegan item on the menu in my opinion. It's both soft and crisp with incredible flavor, accompanied with onions and peppers that has the same fresh and perfectly seasoned taste every time. Vegan options are clear, many and all lovely.

Pros: Genuine spice, Spicy pickled lemon

Sunday Vegan Buffet

Great place for Vegans to eat. The Sunday Vegan Buffet is outstanding, and they have other great vegan dishes they do not put on the buffet.

Lots of clearly marked vegan options

Very tasty and I love going to there lunch buffets. Almost half of the dishes are vegan and clearly marked. I wish the vegetarian dishes were made with coconut milk so they could be vegan. On Sunday night the buffet is completely vegan and they serve dosa and a vegan dessert (lentil payasam) everything was soo good! Lunch buffet is cheaper than the vegan buffet at dinner time (6-9pm)

Pros: Lots of vegan options , 100% Vegan buffet on Sunday

Cons: Some dishes kinda oily, No vegan dessert at lunch buffet

sunday vegan buffet

they have an entire vegan buffet on sunday. amazing. staff is always super friendly too. the only problem is that the dosas, which are traditionally gluten free are not made gluten free here. there should be an allergy note on menu. it’s a great spot, but could be so much better if they kept the gluten free items actually gluten free.

Pros: vegan buffet , lots of veg options , food can be made super spicy if requested

Cons: not gluten free friendly

Too good!

OK, I'm excited about their Sunday vegan buffet! How nice to go to an Indian restaurant, and not have to wonder or ask if a dish is vegan or not. It's all vegan (on Sunday). I'm a regular, and I make sure I'm hungry before I go....

Pros: vegan buffet every Sunday, Tasty!, Authentic Indian cuisine

Cons: lots of fried dishes, on the expensive side

Lots of options from the lunch buffet

I went to Taste of India for lunch today. They have a buffet that had 4 different vegan option. The owner/manger came over and offered vegan rice and bread to go with the buffet. Everything was delicious! I'm returning Sunday. They offer a fully vegan buffet on Sunday's from 6pm to 9pm including dessert options. They also have a vegan section on their menu if you don't want the buffet.

Pros: Lots of vegan options and very accommodating

Great Indian and vegan menu

This is one of the best Indian options around, and they have a separate vegan section on their menu. They also have a separate vegetarian section on their menu (and some of the vegetarian options can be made vegan if you ask).

The food is really delicious. We love the Gobi Manchurian (fried, spicy cauliflower and peppers), Dosa (large fermented lentil wrap filled with potatoes and other options), Dahl (which is vegetarian but can be made vegan), Eggplant bharta (also vegetarian but can be made vegan), and channa masala.

Their traditionally made naan is not vegan (dairy), but they do offer a vegan bread.

The brown rice is vegan and costs extra but the white rice is not vegan (ghee I believe is added).

Pros: Lots of options, Authentic Indian food, Knowledgeable about vegan food requirements

Great Food with Plenty of Vegetarian Options

Wonderful veggie and vegan options. If you are going with a meat-eating friend there’s also plenty of choices. Staff is very knowledgeable so if you aren’t sure if you can eat a particular dish just ask. I’m been going there for lunch for years and always enjoyed the food. Lunch buffet is an all you can eat and a deal. Recently they started a completely vegan buffet on Sunday evenings which fantastic. Some of the best Indian food around.
